PDGA Sanctioned League SVDGA Course Challenge 2017

April 28th through June 30th will keep with the Bag Tag Challenge Schedule with alternating courses. This is a PDGA "Mini Tournament" League.

Each PDGA member will receive an official rating from each league round attended that will be included in that player’s total average rating.

All ratings are unofficial until the TD report is submitted following the completion of the league.

All unofficial ratings can be viewed in the league results section of the PDGA website.

Non-members can view their unofficial ratings online throughout the duration of the league; however, these ratings will disappear following the completion of the league if a PDGA membership is not acquired.

By receiving ratings, it will help players to determine which player division they are best suited for in sanctioned tournaments.

PDGA members will receive PDGA points, which is the primary criterion for earning an invitation to World Championship events.

All Players play the SAME Layout. Each week we will alternate courses as well as Tee Layout playing each course in its entirety throughout the 10 week season.

Bag Tags DO NOT have to be up for grabs but is highly encouraged.

Weekly Cash Payout to Divisional Winners
Players enter standard PDGA divisions. (ie MA1, MA2, MA3, MPO, FA3, etc..)
Players may play in a different division they are eligible for as they prefer each week.

PLAYERS DO NOT HAVE TO JOIN Course Challenge 2017.
Always open to a Free Public League or Tag Challenge.

PDGA MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED TO PLAY IN LEAGUE

Divisions:

Players can decide to play in different divisions on a week by week basis, but points earned will remain in each division played.

Tee Assignments:

Unfortunately due to PDGA guidelines all divisions must play the same tees in a given week to be sanctioned. We will make this as accommodating as possible for all divisions.
Format will be Red Tee, White Tee, and Blue Tee alternating between holes. There are 3 Red, White, and Blue Layouts per Course. (RWB Layout A, B, and C.) This will give you 6 Red Tees, 6 White Tees, 6 Blue Tees during one round. With the exception of “the Springs”.
At The Springs we will play the same 9 Tees for 2 rounds of 9. (i.e. #1 Red, #2 White, #3 Blue = #10(#1) Red, #11(#2) White, #12(#3) Blue)
We will rotate RWB Layout’s each week. (i.e. Week 1,2, and 3 is RWB Layout A. Week 4,5, and 6 is RWB Layout B. Week 7,8, and 9 is RWB Layout C.)
Playing 9 Rounds for the Series will give you a taste of Each Tee at Each Course.
Week 10 is a Random Layout at the Pines DGC for Finale. (Format TBD)
Please refer to the news section for an overview of tee assignments for each given week.

Points:

Players will compete in the division of their choice and will accumulate 1 point for each player they beat within their division (points won in each division are counted separately).  No Points for Tie’s.

Bonus Points:

Continuity Bonus – If a player comes back to back weeks they will earn a Continuity Bonus.
If a player comes to Week 1 there is no bonus, but if the player comes to Week 2 as well they will earn a +2 to their points for the week’s total. If the same player attends Week 3 they will earn a +3 to their week’s total. If they miss Week 4 and attend Week 5, they will not have a bonus. If the same player returns on Week 6 their Bonus is +2.
