Second to last night of LAFDA IPL at The Token Lounge and Fucinari (77) blew away the competition with partial credit going to the Mark Ellis ensemble nick was sporting. Second and last cash was a three-way tie (61) between Lyle, Izeluk and John 'Donkey' Nosek, with Nick Pacific nailing all 3 putts for the 50/50 and graciously donating his earnings back to the club for plastic.
Next week is our final week and it's going to be worth it to show. The top ten point earners who are present will be paid, leaving the field wide open. We're working on other prizes and raffles and we will be setting up all 8 baskets again in hopes we need them all.

Week 5 of the point series is in the books and Barham (79) continues to take all our money with another first place, with Scobie (71), Milewski (67) and Fucinari (63) all cashing as well. Floyd was the lucky plastic, winning the MDGO Zone in the 50/50 raffle and hitting 2/3 putts when his number was pulled again.
Just three weeks left of the point series and it is still anyone's game!! So let's get our asses out the next three weeks and show these point leaders we're here for the chain bang!!

John Nosek took home the 50/50 making all 3 for $19. Mr. Wegryn almost cashing in back to back weeks with the perfect pot missing only 1 his 2nd game congrats to Nate last week with the perfect game $162 see everyone next Monday 2/6

Don't forget, ladies and 'gentlemen,' tonight is LAFDA IPL's first night at The Token Lounge, so let's show up in force and show them we mean business. We all need to be safe but also should show our appreciation for the use of their space by patronizing the bar of the Token!!

Also right next door is some great pizza at Krustyzz, with both carryout and delivery available.

So bring 2 putters and $10 and come check out our new space with 4 lanes this week!

Our last night at Grindstone Smoke House went off without a hitch. 19 players showed to bid farewell to Destiny and Courtney, and yet again, Tim Barham walked away on top, with Nate Wegryn nipping at his heels and Johnny Mac and Scobie in the last two cashes.

Ryan McPherson was our random 50/50 player, and while he may not have made any of his 5 putts amid the heckling and tom-foolery, he made one in our hearts, so he walked away with a nice shiny new Ti Zone, courtesy of Floyd.

Even though we won't be putting at Grindstone, remember to thank them for having us by stopping in for some great food anytime you can!!!

So thank you yet again for a wonderful night, also for lugging your baskets in, Mitch and Floyd, and we will see you for the chain bang at The Token Lounge next monday!!!

On January 23rd the LAFDA IPL @ Grindsone will become The Token Lounge presents LAFDA Indoor Putting League!!!!

The Token Lounge is a kick ass rock venue on the North side of Westland @ Joy and Middlebelt. We have the ENTIRE bar, including the stage, where there is enough room for 5 maybe even 6 lanes. This should limit us only by the amount of baskets we have and since they're used to 400 people mosh pits, we should be golden

In addition, we can order food to be delivered, and with Krustyzzz Pizza right next door, who has the best pizza in this area IMO, we are set!!!!

More baskets will be needed, however, there is a thread on facebook in the Livonia Area Flying Disc Association (LAFDA) group. If you refuse to FB, then hit me up here or call/txt me.

I've been told there is a hunger for a putting league in this area and last night you guys proved it. We went a little long but I want to thank the 37 patient putters for coming out!

Congratulations to Tim Barham taking the night!! I'm supposed to be working right now so stay tuned for all the payouts and scores on DGS should be up by Friday.

I've talked with management and scoped out some spots so anticipate more lanes next week for less downtime and a faster finish.

Welcome to a new indoor putting league (IPL) presented by LAFDA. We run a singles format we call bowling, where everyone gets to play 3 games and anyone can win our sidepots, not just the best.

We will be starting a 6 week point series league on Monday January 9th. Reg begins at 7, games begin by 730

Each week will be a $5 buy-in for the payouts that night, and an additional $5 each week for the point series and a chance at our 2 side pots.
