Shirts just arrived in the mail!

For those of you who played 3 or more Monday night league events this year, you will get one when you come to play in the finale on Saturday. Any leftovers will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

On Saturday we will tee off at 10AM for the league finale. We'll play a round from the red tees in the morning, and after an hour long lunch break we'll play a round from the blues. There will be either a CTP or Long Putt on every hole for both rounds, thanks to the support of our local business community. During the lunch break there will be a ring of fire for some discs. After the round of blues, we will have a pizza party/ awards ceremony at Aubree's. If you have any other questions, let me know. Keep it Fresh.

I just paid for the shirts, they should ship early next week! Anyone playing in the finale gets a shirt as part of their entry fee. If you won't be in the finale, but would like a shirt, let me know. They're first come first serve and will be $15, with $5 of that going towards the course.

With Getz's and Casualties donating gift cards, and Downwind Sports donating $100 worth of merchandise, we now have over $500 worth of prizes donated for the finale. We will have a CTP on just about every hole for both rounds. I hope to see many of you there!

This week, we added more sponsors for the finale! The Sports Rack, Jet's Pizza, Watch It Bend, The Compound, Pomp's Tire, Ore Dock Brewing Company, Superior Outfitters, Jean Kay's Pasties, The Rice Paddy, and Toarmina's Pizza have all donated prizes. In addition to the donations we received last week, the value of donated prizes is now over $350 for the finale. See you Monday! I'll go over more details for the finale then.

Big ace today by Tim Kopacz on Hole 3 worth $162!!! That means the ace pool starts at zero for our last week of the season, which will be from the blue tees. I'd like to thank everyone that has made this a wonderful year so far. We've had 70 people who have played at least once this year, and at least one new person every week. Let's try to get 30 or more players out there next Monday!

More info on the season finale. We will be having an after party/ awards ceremony at Aubree's. I have contacted Paragon about shirts, and they will be getting back to me sometime next week to finalize a design for the shirts. Once they do that I will be placing the order. I ordered extras so if anyone wants one who hasn't let me know yet, there will be one for you.

So far, we have had prizes donated by Aubree's, Vango's, Stuckos, Wings 'n' Things/Superior Lanes, Lakeshore Bike, Northern Lights Glass, Coachlight Restaurant, and 906 Sports Bar and Grill. There will be many more to come as well.

I would just like to thank everyone that came out today. We had 24 people including some brand new faces. The ace pool sits at $136 with just one week each of red and then blue tees. Thank you everyone who has made this a great season of disc golf at Powder Mill, it's been an honor and a privilege running this league for you guys.

The handicapped season finale tournament is coming up in less then month; I'll be putting orders in for shirts this week. If you're not able to play and would like a shirt, they'll be approx. $15, maybe less. Let me know shirt sizes if you do. If you are planning on playing as well let me know! Everyone who plays gets a shirt, and there will be CTPs and (hopefully) other prizes galore! Any questions about it, feel free to ask.
