It's only week 2 and it's showing to be a battle in every division. I love seeing everyone enthusiastic about Wednesday nights at Sussex Park. There has been a lot of notable stories brewing up so far in this young season, but nothing more than their being a new sheriff in town in the Pro division. Tristan Poss has come out of nowhere and put the target on his back as the guy to catch. Now winning 2 weeks in a row, it leaves me thinking; whose gonna step up?? As for the Rec division Alan Jacobs deserves a ton of credit for shaving 12 strokes off his previous weeks score! Alan is new to the sport and will be flaunting the funny money to show he's stepping up! The intermediate division is definitely an exciting one this season.With most hovering right around even, I see a lot of personal best scores popping up in the next few weeks. As for the Advanced division... All I can say is that this will come down to the very last week to crown a champion. Everyone is within a couple strokes of each other and whoever wins will be the one who wanted it most... Bring your game faces every Wednesday gentleman, who wants that trophy? It's been great seeing so many new faces. If you guys are throwing a casual round and run into a bunch of unfamiliar faces please invite them to leagues...The disc golf community is full of great people, lets keep adding to it! Remember, Hit up Sussex Liquor, give Ryan Miller a hug, and buy discs from Mike for paying the league fee's and bringing the players a lower cost each week.
