Wanted to let you all know that the spring/summer session will be starting next Wednesday April 13th. With the construction near Bandy still in effect, we are going to be at MBD to start the season.

I will be creating the Spring/Summer league here on The Scene tonight and posting a scheduled round on the homepage as well.

Wow, was that REALLY 27 weeks of Discgolf?

It went fast. I can say that it was perhaps the BEST winter of disc golf I have ever had. I am beyond thrilled with the attendance each week, and the amount of fun that appeared to be had by all who joined in each week. I hope that you enjoyed it every bit as much as I did. The gifts/appreciation items presented tonight were a complete surprise. I am happy to know that you think that much of the league!

Hot round of -17 recorded by Kerns/Sprow tonight takes the win. A pair of -15 (Boucher/Beard and Freeland/Common) as well as -14 (Brayton/DeHaan....who took cash in the playoff, Fifer/Hepler, Sailler/Chilson) round out the tops scores.

Scoreboard is finalized. Congratulations to everyone that came out. Plenty of new faces which we hope will be back for future rounds. Happy to have all the donations for the CTPs tonight (thank you to all who donated), as well as Knight's-who continue to sponsor us each week. Bill Chapman also donated a Main Street Ventures gift card as well. Good eating for sure at these fine restaurants.

We will start up again in a few weeks (April 13 to be exact). We will start at MBD. Please continue to throw and organize rounds between now and then. Plenty to come in the Spring/Summer session. Planning on Bag Tags....still in the planning stage, but looks VERY promising. Details to come.

State berths will also be awarded tomorrow night as well. In addition, I have plenty of plastic available for purchase.....glow and non glow. Also have LEDs available if you need them.

Reslock/Sprow take the win last night with a solid -17, aided by Reslock's ace on his very first throw last night. 2nd place went to Brayton/Gacioch at -16, and three way battle for last cash at -15. Sailler/Wehrheim win in the throw off.

Back to Bandy next week. Let me know if anything is off....Battle in the last few weeks for top spots and berths. Should be close and fun to be a part of these last rounds.

Secondly, we are at Bandy tomorrow night. 7:30 start time. Will have LEDs available....will try to restock on hand warmers, however I hope that we may not need them.

Next, order was placed for more custom Trotter boxes. 20 more on the way. Please make plans to get paid up on these tomorrow if possible. List is posted on the WC Glow Facebook page.

Lastly, Feb 10th is our round at Rolling Hills as part of their featured week. We will plan to start at 7pm as everyone I spoke to at the end of last week's round was OK with moving it up. I think we will still probably have an altered course (as in not playing all 18 existing holes) but rather a shortened loop. It will be a fun round regardless.

Given the snow and ice, and the comments, we are switching venues to BANDY for this week....tee pads will be in better conditions and any wind we should be protected a little better as well. Since winter finally made it here, tee pad conditions need to be a concern. Past winters have shown that pads are not cleared at MBD often, if at all....this leaves ice and dangerous footing.

Please pass the word along to everyone that we are at BANDY this week, NOT MBD.

Bandy has our league as well as Phil's Monday night league at bandy keeping the pads clear.

Brayton/Common take the win with a hot -16. Fifer/Yarbrough come in 2nd at -14, followed by a cluster of -13 scores from Boucher/Perras, Sprow/Redman, and Kerns/Reslock. I want to say thank you for all that were in attendance. I am really happy with the high turnout each week.

Also, my order with Discraft will be completed next Monday. I will be picking it up right after school. Very excited they were able to get this turned around so quickly for us.

I ordered some Glow Wizards last week and they arrived yesterday. Will have them with me tonight for those interested.

I have some LEDs left. Most are White, and I will have more for next week. Just did not get it done in time for tonight's round.

Great scoring as -15 took the top two spots. Boucher/Common and Ninja Nate/Crouch took honors. Reslock/Hespen and Sailler/Burke were not far off at -13.

We are going back to Bandemer next week. Hopefully we can continue to see good attendance and more good scoring.

Bennett/Common take top honors with a -16. Followed closely were Kerns/Quiton at -15, Brayton/Reslock and Helper/Binienda at -14, Jub Jub/Neuman at -13, and Sailler/Creason, Jopps/Bolla at -12.
Cash CTPs went to Pete Boucher, Phil Common, and Jub Jub. Robert Smith took home the merch CTP.

GLOWPEN has been posted. A tournament of 27 holes (Blue, White, and Red tees) will take place on Nov 14th. Reg is from 345-430, with Tee off at 5pm. Only $25 for divisions. AM Divisions have a $10 credit towards the purchase of a disc or LEDs. Will have a variety of plastic on hand, including partnering with Club 127 to offer more payout options.

CTPs and Ace pool is available as well. If there are no aces, that money gets paid out via CTP at the conclusion of the event.

Fun night out at MBD....some new faces joined us this week, hope all of you had a good time playing.

Tie at the top with a -14 DeHaan/Jopps and Kerns/Plantz. Finishing a close 2nd at -13 was Spry/Wykes and Brayton/Fish. CTPs earned by Piziali, Crouch, Fish and Plantz. Big THANK YOU to Floyd Hampp on his disc donation to the CTP for the evening. A Metal Flake Champion Thunderbird was a nice prize to donate.

Back at MBD next week. I have LEDs for any of you who need them. Also have some new glow discs available as well(Flat Top Glow Rocs, Champ Firebirds, and Champ Boss). If you pre-ordered and did not pick up this week because of the chaos, I will make sure to take care of you next week before the round.

Also, Rob DeHaan has informed me that there is construction on Ellsworth road....it will be closed 10/7 and 10/8 between State and Platt (this is south of the course). If this is in your travel path, please be advised that an alternate route will be needed.

Feels like Fall....Good turnout with 26 players, including several new players to the league....hopefully ya'll had a good night and will be back with us weekly.

Kerns/Boucher take the win a -14, followed by Sailler/Reslock at -11, and DeHaan/Sprow, Helper/Plantz, and Schwartz/Wykes all at -10. CTP winners included Phil Common and Plantz taking home some new plastic, and Boucher and Bo Fought winning the cash prizes.

We are at Mary Beth Doyle next week. I should have hand warmers available for purchase, as well as LEDs for those who need them.

Lastly, the Innova order arrived and has some very nice color foils. I posted images for you to drool over. Everything is MAX WEIGHT. You are welcome to make arrangements with me before Wednesday if you would like to pick up or at least PM me to claim your 1st foil choice. I can then let you know if anything is spoken for.
