Our great sponsor Breakin Chains will be there handing out $100's in gift certificates and helping make the day a success as always!

We will be paying out over $1,400 in cash & prizes!! CTP on every hole during the morning singles round and more during the afternoon doubles.

We will have a BBQ after the morning singles round. During the BBQ we will award the top ten from Sunday & top ten from Tuesdays league days. We will be paying out top 3 Singles winners for the day as well as some special awards. We will award top four teams for the days doubles - just too much to list and all too great to miss. Looking forward to seeing all of you out there!!!!

You don't want to miss the Year End Bash. We will be paying out for both league days; just over $1,000 in cash payouts from the League fund and $300 in Gift Certificates from our great sponsor Breakin Chains Disc Golf Store! We will have CTP's on every hole and Ring O Fire prizes as well; Also, some special awards. There will be a Singles round in the AM followed by BBQ and Payouts for top 10 finishers for both league days. Just a reminder we are hosting a Glow Round at Muldoon this Saturday evening. We will be glowing out around 7 to start setting up. If you can come help us get baskets ready that would be fantastic. It'll glow a lot quicker that way. If you glow down to the dollar store or even a Pips you can get cheap glow sticks and the likes. Make sure to bring some clear packing tape to affix the sticks to your discs. Let's all glow out there and have some fun.
We will be playing for tags but no point. And their will be a prize for low score. We may even do a CTP for cash.

Nice Sunday round - Nice Ace on 4 by Adam. Great weather for Random doubles after league where Jim W. & Ryan S. shot -12

Work Half Hour - Call to Duty!!
Tuesday after League we will be looking for some hands to help drag and stack some brush on the new holes. Assuming it doesn't rain like crazy. If we get about 10 bodies we figure we can get done what is needed in just a 1/2 hour before darkness sets in. So if you can stay and help it will get us to the new layout that much sooner as this will be needed prep for the last of the Tractor work taking place the next day.

What we will probably do is take scores on paper and forego tags so people can hand in scores and go straight to help.

In the coming days we will be doing a work day or two to get the pads done. Once the pads are in place we will do another work day to move baskets and signs & last of some needed trimming - then we will be playing an awesome new Disc Golf Course!!!

The Tickhead's Annual Two Disc Challenge (TATDC) is going to be held on Sunday June 28th!!! This tourney will take the place of the usual league round.

You don't want to miss the annual two disc challenge! We will start at 9:30; check-in begins at 9:00. Your $5 entry includes 5 CTP holes (prizes & cash), the League Ace pot & cash payouts as deep as entries allow- the more that enter the more winners there will be!

Rules and such:

1) Any two discs you like from your bag - just two for the round.
2) league points will be tracked, but no tags.
3) 4 CTP prize holes & 1 cash CTP = 5 holes. (3, 7, 9, 11, 14)
4) league ace pot applies - what ever it is plus day's total.
5) Buy-in $5. (Gets you into Ace & CTP pots) $3 goes to payout - no league cut.
6) If no ace hit $1 per entry goes instead to payout total.
7) just one round. Followed by the usual Sunday round of random doubles.

Registration is capped at 72, so make sure to pre-register if you want to play.

The new fairway clearing begins tomorrow!! We will also be doing some work parties on new Tee Pads as soon as the Boyscout bridge is harvested for Pad Wood ;-) Be ready to asnwer the call to duty soon!

Warning Chuckers - this post is going to attempt to appeal to your better self...I'm pretty sure most of you have one of those ;-)

Great news 1st - The town has agreed to spend about $680 to upgrade our T-pads; All T-Pads will grow to 4' x 12' - Very Cool!!!!! Grip paint will be applied to existing rubber and about half the holes will have new rubber!

More Great news - We are hiring a guy to clear out the 4 awesome new holes at the back of the course in Beaver Brook - Less Work Days!!! A tractor with tree killing attachments will free us all from 1/4 mile of lopping and the dragging! Great holes back there - a Par 4 and 3 holes 300' and over.

To that better self and warning - we need to raise $520 to pay this guy so we don't have to do all that cutting and dragging ourselves. Rav is going to front the money to get him working this week, but that means we have to raise some dough to pay Rav back.

We are asking that over the next few League rounds everyone donate what they can to this great cause that is going to improve YOUR course - $5, $10, $20 ?? What ever you can manage. If everyone chips in we can pay Rav back in no time. We average about 30 people per round - do the math and help YOUR course get even better!

The weather has warmed and the course is clear for another great year of disc golf! Looking forward to seeing everyone come out to kick off the 2015 league season in full force.

The league is starting officially this upcoming Sunday, 4/26/15 @ 9:30am

The first Tuesday round will follow on 4/28/15 @ 5:30pm

One slight change this year is that we'll be tracking two separate points series, one for Sunday, one for Tuesday. The idea is that this will give more of a winning chance to those who can only commit to one day a week. For those who come both days, you now have a chance to win twice!

To track the points separately, we'll be maintaining two disc golf scene sites, one for each league day:

Just like last year, a one-time $10 tag buy in allows play for both league days. Tags will be shared across days. We've got custom printed, full-color bottle opener tags this year that you won't want to miss. Come out and get yours!

We've also got league discs in the making again this year, but this time we've upgraded to a SuperColor Buzzz disc with full-color custom image. These will go on sale for only $10 each again this year in an effort to make them affordable enough for everyone to get their hands on one.

I'm also very excited to announce that Breakin' Chains Disc Golf will be sponsoring our league again for the 2015 season.
