I appreciate everybody's donations towards the garbage can fund. Before last night's round, we had a total of $312. That total is counting (3) $10 CTP's that were given away. After last night we have a grand total of $348. I will be giving Steve Carson the cash very soon so we can get these cans as soon as possible.

I have started a new winter league that will run up to the start of summer league. I have called it "Throwing Man Winter Winter League". Follow the link below to the league page. Hopefully we'll see everybody for the first week of league next Wednesday at 4pm.

Jeff and Stan showed up at the last second and took home to top prize of $0....Jeff did get tag 2 though. Steven Sands won the CTP and got $7 in quarters and $3 in singles....have fun with the coin-op wash machine. We had 19 people this week equaling $57. That brings us up to a grand total of $294 in the garbage can fund.

Sidenote: I will be hosting a little tourney this Saturday at Leverich Park around 11am RAIN OR SHINE!!! There will be some prizes given away for various things that involve disc golf. Then afterwards, everybody is invited to my house for our annual Oktoberfest. There will be great beer, German food, and of course fun and games. Hit me back if you want any more details otherwise hopefully we'll see at Lever Sat. Morning....RAIN OR SHINE!!!!

League will be held on Thursday this week due to the Daybreak Park meeting. If you can make it tonight, please come out to Battle Ground Middle School to discuss the new course at Daybreak. I believe it starts around 7pm. BE THERE!!!

Also, we have $237 dollars in the pot to buy garbage cans. If we don't get a solid answer by the last week of league on the fortune of our fund raising efforts to buy the cans, we will have a tourney with some kick ass prizes. Details to follow.

Hey, no rain this week...that was nice. Congrats to Ryan Elston on the BIG ace on 11 last night. Sorry there is no ace pot but you still got $30 from your friends. Also, congrats to Denny for winning the $10 CTP on #1....you beat me by a couple of inches....damn it!!!

We had 15 people last night, which equals $45 minus $10 for the CTP. That leaves us with $35 plus the $78 we have in the pot already equals $113. I hate to say it but that is almost enough for 1 garbage can. I think I'll buy one soon, put it up and see how it goes until we get enough for another. I'm taking suggestions on which hole to put it on. The holes I think need them the most are...4, 6 & 11, 10. Most everything else is pretty close to a trashcan.

Thanks to the brave souls that came out last night. It was sunny all day, then the rains came...

We played best disc doubles in the rain and still posted some decent scores. Next week will be playing singles and hopefully in the sun. I have shorted the season by one week and now the fall league series will end on Oct. 28, 2009...8 weeks total.

We had 11 people last night. That means that we collected $33 last night which puts us at $78 dollars total in the garbage can fund. We are on our way to a cleaner park!!

If anybody doesn't understand how the scoring works here is an explanation...High round gets 100pts. All other scores are based on how many shots you are off the lead. If you have any questions please let me know.

Also, next week we will be starting at 5 again and we will be playing doubles. This doubles round will be played "Worst Disc Doubles"...rules to be explained next week. If anybody want to get together and play in the afternoons drop me a line.

We decided as a group that the money from the league would go for garbage cans. We had 15 people tonight so the kitty is at $45. Brian Loy is our garbage can connection and he is working out a price for us. Thanks again for coming out and see you next week.
