DGS Friday Night Lights is postponed until the weather breaks. Tom and I surveyed Brys tonight and it is unplayable in a league format. There is an average of 12" of snow with drifts up to 24" deep. We only made it to hole 2 before turning back. I felt like we needed to tie ourselves to ropes in case one of us got lost... OK jokes aside, we will return to the 2015 with a point series in place and a fresh start. Mike Wood and I discussed bringing this league into the point series, which would require an official start and finish date for the season to make things fair for everyone. If you're not familiar with how a point series works we can help you out here. Just post your question below. I will be out of town next week and tomorrow is too early to begin the new point series. I was thinking around March-April would be a good time to begin, with a playoff in October. What are everyone's thoughts? Also, what is the overall consensus for DGS voucher payouts? Congrats to Binienda/Sweeney on the win. 2 Aces this week. Nick Cooke and Randy Noble split the ace pot for $84 each.

New format as of next week all payouts will be in plastic/merchandise from The Disc Golf Store. This includes the Ace Pot, First Place Winners and CTP. With disc golf season being at a close this will ensure The Disc Golf Store can stay open during these winter months.

We will be adding more and more merchandise or plastic into the Ace Pot as it grows. This will be determined by the value of the Ace Pot. For example: We will start of with one disc in the Ace Pot and add either discs or merchandise each week as the balance grows. If the pot reaches $175 we will replace the items in the pot with a Dynamic Discs Ranger bag and continue to add back those items in the event the pot continues to grow. The value of the merchandise will be equal to or exceed the monetary value of the Ace Pot.
