CCR Open is this weekend! Look up tournament info in the tournament section of the Scene. I would love to see more girls playing in it! However if you can't play and would like to help in any sort of way, I will be running the Grand Woods course all weekend long and could use your help from 7am Saturday morning until Dark, or Sunday around the same time til 5pm (ish). I could definitely use a couple of you (who aren't playing) to help people on the mini golf course that I will be setting up! Or the putting contest that Trip C's will be hosting.

2 weeks from now, July 14, we will have a shirt exchange. Bring your disc golf shirts that don't fit or you just don't wear anymore and give them to someone who can fit them or someone who might need one who doesn't have any. See ya soon!!

Hey women! I just wanted to let you know next Monday we are still meeting up at Sleepy Hollow at 6pm for those who don't have other plans. Since DGGW is coming up rather quickly, I figured it would be nice to do some clinics. Matt Rinker and Lauren Curtis will be doing a clinic night for us next week. Depending on how long the clinic lasts, we will play 9-12 holes of doubles. The following Monday at JBird's, we will also be doing a clinic! I will post more details of that one when I have it. It will either be me doing the clinic or a special guest:)

First, remember this weekend is the Global Event as well as the 2nd leg of the MWS!! Friday night, Ragna Bygde, will be doing a clinic for women only at 6pm at Fitzgerald park. I hope you can come check it out!

ALSO, we were invited back to Jays in 2 weeks and have been offered to go there every other week. We voted last night and everyone agreed to go back so the schedule has changed for May 19th, we will be back at Jays! So by the sounds of it, we will go to Jays the first and 3rd Monday of every month!

Michigan Women‘s Series (MWS): The first event in the women’s only series of tournaments is THIS Saturday, May 3rd at Fallasburg. Search for ’MWS’ on discgolfscene.com to find the full list of events. You can click on each one to find out information for each event! The PDGA Women’s Global Event is May 10th! Our leg of it is also the 2nd leg of the MWS! Global Event is FREE to play and you will compete with women all over the world, in 6 different countries, on the same day.

Bag Tags: We will be ordering personalized bag tags from Disc Diva. They will have our logo on them with your first name and PDGA # if you have one. ONLY Those who pay full $25 club dues by May 5th will receive a personalized tag. Those who pay full dues after this date will still receive a Trip C’s bag tag, but not personalized.

Promo Packs: We are in need of some women friendly, new or lightly used, discs for the promo packs if anyone has any extra ones lying around.

What is a promo pack you ask? We will be putting together packages that will include a disc, mini, erasable scorecard and pencil, stickers, disc flight chart, ‘how to throw’ instructions, hopefully a towel and more. We will be promoting women friendly disc golf websites as well as sponsors websites who donated this stuff.

Trip C’s Fundraiser Mini’s: You will receive one as a club member and we will sell the rest for $5 each as a club fundraiser. When we reach $250 we will purchase a basket for Fitzgerald Park. The rest of the profits will go right back into the club funds! I initially ordered 100, but just ordered 50 more as I was selling them like hotcakes to local guys last week!

DGGW Merchandise for sale!! I have a bunch of stuff for sale! Disc Girls Gone Wild discs which are fundraisers for the tournament, minis, License plate covers, $15 starter bags, $100 backpack bags, and more!

Hey girls! I am sorry for so many changes already. I am rearranging the schedule a bit. I changed the 21st from SH to JBird's again. He invited us back and plus, I don't think there is quite enough daylight yet to get through it. I think I will make leagues go longer, into September, if there is enough interest, and then we can do a weekly vote or something on where to play. But also, I think we travel to too many courses. Anyone else feel this way? Anyway, I may still make more changes but the next couple weeks are good. Please help me spread the word and let everyone know. Thanks!

If you pay your full $25 by April 28th, you will receive a personalized bag tag. Those who pay full dues after this date will still receive a Trip C’s bag tag, but not personalized.
You will also recieve a Trip C's mini which I ordered 100 of so we can sell them as fundraisers for the club. They are a brand new swirly plastic!
