So! If you had 3 rounds, they all got averaged, if you had more than 3 then I dropped worst / best / worst in that order until you had 3 and then averaged. If you had 2, you got your best factored in twice. If you had only 1 round in a layout, I took pity on you and made it your average. IF YOU HAD NO ROUNDS in the playoff layouts, you got the average of averages.

Don't forget all you hearty winter tag fellows, Tag finals THIS SUNDAY, first round tees at 10am (Remember to set your clocks!) I will be calculating averages and whatnot and they should be up by Friday for you to check out where you all stand in points and what your personal par will be for each round.

March 2: Next week will be the last week. Some folks still need a 3rd round on short/long for the final, so that's the layout. It will still be cold, there will still be snow. The Legendary Sleepy Hollow Mixed Doubles Is also this day, if you're thinking of playing it, you absolutely should! If you don't have a lady partner for the mixed division, there is a Cali division as well.

After this round we will finalize the points and add bonus points (between 5 and 1 point(s) based on your average placement during your league rounds). We will post the standings, along with your course pars for the final in the week before the Final.

March 9: FINAL!! 10AM tee time. Two rounds. First round will be Short/Long. We will break for lunch and the Second round will be Short/Short.

The second round will have CTP's, Long Putts, 50/50, etc - there will be something (Matt's gonna pick out some tasty plastic) on every hole!

March 9 is also the day of daylight saving (at 2am). Set your clocks, don't be late! 10am will feel a lot like 9am, but we'll have an extra hr of daylight, with sunset at 7:37pm. We'll have time for a 4hr round, 1hr for lunch and 3hrs for second round with time to spare!

Rewards for the final standings will be TAGS. No money, gifts, plastic, trophies, prizes, just the honor of the #1 tag to the winner, and so on down the line. Dedicated players will end up with better tags than some those who play better golf, that was our intention for this League.

If and when certain tags aren't present at the Final, we'll have to coordinate and trade with the people who have them until everyone has the right #s. We got a good group of guys, so this won't be too much hassle.

Four more weeks of tag play remain before the tournament! We have enough short - short rounds that we will be able to make a solid average for everyone, but if we want to have two different layouts for the tournament day, we'll need to get on the short-long for most of the rest of the league. Justin and I will talk to everyone on Sunday about this, it's no biggie if the group wants to do two rounds of short - short for the playoff, but we'll leave it up to you guys.

So here are the purely points based totals for everyone as of now, these do count your bonus points for showing up with a better tag / etc, but do not count the bonuses we will give for average tag held.

The round this week went real smooth despite the conditions. Assuming conditions next week are the same or better, we'll be doing Short/Long or, OR - a mix and match of Renegades' Run and River's Edge, with some of the "shorts" if we can find the tees that Doug flagged off. Be ready to play anything but short/short again.

Hey everyone! We'll be playing Short to Long tomorrow. Ribbons are a good idea - I lost two today at Woods! Otherwise, re-throw w/no additional penalty stroke if you do lose one.

Be advised, there may be some change to the end game for the league. Sadly, we may have to swap River's Edge for Short-to-Short in the Final, since some holes are unplayable/closed.

I'd love to see some orange tags in the mix, you've been challenged!

A reminder for everyone - the next two weeks are bye weeks. I will be there at the normal time and I would like to do a Short/Long and Rivers' Edge for these two weeks, as long as it's not blizzard conditions or temps around 0°. Consider it a chance to toughen up for the upcoming Ice Burrrg Open (http://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Ice_Burrrg_Open_2014) and Frigid Doe Ice Bowl (http://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/5th_Annual_Frigid_Doe_Ice_Bowl_2014). No wimps, no whiners!

These rounds can/will count toward the recorded scores for use in calculating the Average that will be your personal par at the Final in March, but no league points will be awarded until Jan 5th!
