Hey Friends, the round ratings have been a disaster... first I made all of the reports and submitted them. Then they came back and said I didnt fill it out right, so then I resubmitted them by letting the form auto fill, then they said it was correct. After the last update in June they still didnt post and I contacted them and they said I had to sanction the leauge which cost and additional $50, but that I couldnt as the leauge was completed more than 90 days ago. At this point i am asking the PDGA to refund the money for the round ratings so I can disburse it to the players who rightfully deserve it. I promise we will not be doing round ratings next year! Sorry for all the hassle and I will make this right!

I am about to submit the round ratings, This is your official warning if you have not become a current PDGA Member for 2013 then your round ratings will not be submitted as I am not going to front your non PDGA fees... You needed to be current by March 2nd, but I technically have until April 1st to submit the final report, so please send me a message if you are going to be current by Monday and still want your rounds rated! As of right now it is Myself, Shaun Kirk, Michael Ray, Josh Parker, Steve Winslow, Jennie Cartwright, Chris Lippert, Dave Heider, and Will Wagman. Consider yourself warned. I am free, free at last, I get to camp out Saturday so lets do this right and have a good old time...Make sure and bring appropriate gear and beverages... also Sunday is the monthly tournament for MVDSA so if you stay the night you can wake up and play a tourney on Sunday and get some revenge on this amazing 18 hole layout.... We had a total of 52 paid in players this year. 6 people never showed up after the first event and of those 6 one had paid in and I refunded him as it was a family emergency.

So 52 x 40 = $2080 in entry fees
$375 - Purchased us $500 in Huk Lab CTPs
$30 - Write in the Rain Score Cards and Pencils
$150 - Sweet Metal Trophies
$275 - Players Party Beer/Soda Burgers/ Dogs
$1255 - Top ten places paid out
For a total of .... drum roll please $2085. I am actually short $5 but luckily I dont give a fuck after all I am a bad ace!

I am guessing here will be some extra beer for sale, and Everclear Jello Shots for sale and lots of competitions to spend the $1255 in cash we are going to be handing out. Payouts are as follows, unless something I have calculated is wrong...
1st = $250
2nd = $200
3rd = $175
4th = $150
5th = $125
6th = $100
7th = $80
8th = $75
9th = $50
10th = $50

I also heard Dave might be doing Everclear jello shots... at random holes throughout the tournament... so bring a few dollars extra and your own booze after you're done with your first 2 beers.

I finally got in touch with the awesome rangers at Stub and we are able to move the baskets to shorter locations...trust me they were super hard and going to cause issues all in long...if anyone is able to get there by 830 to help with moving the baskets i would be forever grateful! Because of this, I allowed them to complete the rounds for the first event on thier own and submit the results to me, I have updated the leaderboard to reflect thier standings and Handicaps for the next round. I also added what place you are in overall. See you at Champoeg, tee at 10 sharp with day light becoming an issue... bring lunch as no close options exist. Who is gonna get the Ace so I dont have to carry around so much cash? Get there early if you want practice the temp baskets, or just get me inebriated so you can laugh at my lack of ability to direct a Tournament not sober. Also I have began discussions with Huk Lab to come to one of our later events and set up his vendor tent!

Im pretty excited to dominate everyones faces again! I do love me some bird or die disc at Hornings, the weather is looking promising; which is always nice when I dont have to put in too much pillow talk time with the devil to keep the rain away. Congrats to my Beavers as they won handidly last week while the ducks sat around with their thumbs up their feathery asses and watched two mediocre teams battle it out for the Pac 12 Championships. Please dont forget to bring $3 to pay for the day use fee at Hornings Hideout! I already spoke with Bob and let him know we were coming, so dont be surprised if there is someone sitting at the entrance taking money from you before you even park your car! Consider yourselves warned, thats what they did at the DGOD event I went to a little while back.

Lastly there has been talk of purposeful sandbagging again! Seriously, this is the one thing that really pisses me off and is a giant slap to my face from a group of epople that I consider to be friends, even the duck fans contingent I consider to be friends (cant believe i just typed that) As your President and a friend, please dont be a douche bag and screw with the integrity of the competition. That being said up to this point I have no reason to believe this has happend. You are allowed to drop 4 scores and keep your best 6. AS I mentioned at the first event: It is one thing to have an abnormally bad round or day where things just wont go right (especially on those Damned Hornings Baskets) It is another thing entirely to simply announce that you are going to triple bogey every hole and then do exactly that!
