The 2026 Summer Series at Beech Fork State Park is designed for new and intermediate players who want a fun challenge and want to win a little bit of money.
Layout rotates weekly between:
Front 9 twice
Back 9 twice
Family 18
BEGINNERS DIVISION
The beginners division will focus on fun, fundamentals, and steady improvement, not high‑level competition but some competition. Each week includes 18 holes of disc golf and a ring of fire challenege in a friendly atmosphere where players can ask questions, learn rules, and meet others who are also new to the sport.
All entry fees go back into the league either through payouts or through buying water to have available when it gets hot.
If you do not have discs to play with, I will have some on site that you can use.
Format:
-Tuesdays, 6:00 PM start time.
-Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to check-in with the League Administrator/Host.
-Meet at my vehicle by Hole 4 of the course.
- No need to go through the guards.
Beginner Division Fee:
$5 Weekly Entry Fee gets you
$3 Payout
$2 Ring of Fire Challenge
Optional $3 Ace Pot buy in.
Intermediate Division Fee:
$10 Weekly Fee gets you
$5 Payout
$3 Ace Pot
$2 Ring of Fire Challenge
-If no Aces are hit the Ace Pot carries to the following week.
-Top 45% for the week in each division receive payout.
Beginner Division Eligibility Requirements
-To maintain a true beginner division atmosphere, all players must meet all of the following:
-Unrated or PDGA rating under 800
-Average driving distance under 275 feet
-Self‑certification that you are a beginner‑level player
If you don't meet those requirements, then you go into the intermediate division.
Weather & Cancellation Policy
-Light Rain: League Plays
-Heavy Rain: League Plays
-Thunderstorms or unsafe conditions: league canceled
-Updates will be posted on the Disc Golf Scene page
To protect fairness and the beginner‑only environment:
- The League Director reserves the right to move, reclassify, or remove any player who exceeds beginner skill level or violates league rules.
