About this league
Fee per round $6
$6 per week - Show up for one or all, still $6 each week. Pre-registration is preferred and will speed up league start each week (fill out this form: https://forms.gle/8yQ83LjfHvKbPbCY8), but anyone can just show up and log into PDGA scoring.
SPECIAL NOTE: This league will be off for one week due to the Bluberry Festival taking over the park. Per the PDGA's instruction, the league was set up as a 9 week league, knowing that we will not play week 4. So this will be an 8 week league, but scoring on Disc Golf Scene and PDGA may indicate the weeks as 1-9 with week 4 having no scores.
$6/wk cost breakdown = $1 PDGA, $1 Ace, $1 Course Fund, $3 Payouts. There wil lbe at least one free ctp each week to win a disc. Payouts will be made after the last week of league based on point totals and per division. Pros will receive cash via PayPal. Amateurs will recieve digital gift cards to the Michiana Pro Shop.
Ratings-based Divisions
Each player will compete in a division corresponding to their PDGA rating. Those who do not have a rating may compete in the Purple Division. Players DO NOT need to be a PDGA member to participate. Players may compete in a high rated division if they choose. The Women's division is protected. However, female players have the option to play in a rated division as well. Any pro classified players must register for the Gold Division.
Divisions:
Gold - PDGA rating over 970 (plus all pros)
Blue - < 970 rating
White - < 935 rating
Red - < 900 rating
Green - < 850 rating
Purple - < 800 rating or unrated player
Women - any rating. Pro women will compete in rated division
League Points: All players will compete for a points championship within their division. At the conclusion of the league, division champions will be determined by a league points system. Players earn ONE point for each player in their division they beat and/or tie plus THREE points for participation. The top 6 rounds of each player will count toward their league standings (all rounds will be rated and included in overall ratings by the PDGA). Have a bad round or two? Miss a few weeks? No problem, only the top six count for the league standings.
Scoring: We will utilize the PDGA live scoring application. All players will be required to play in a group of at least three and no more than five total players on the card. All groups will tee off at 6:00 pm sharp due to limited daylight.
