This is a casual weekly flex-start league at Phillips Park DGC in Carrick. Play the 9-hole course twice with a card of 3-5 players. Rounds can take place any time the sun is up Monday-Friday. League will consist of 5-week sessions where the first 4 weeks will be regular rounds played from the white (concrete) tees and the 5th week is played in the pink layout (9 holes from the white tees and 9 holes from the red tees).

This league offers 4 divisions: DIV1, DIV2, DIV3, and DIVW. Players are assigned to a division based on their performance during league play. A player’s average score is calculated from their last 3 rounds from the white tees (best 3 of 4 if they play all 4 white tee weeks during a session) and the top, middle, and bottom thirds are placed in DIV1, DIV2, and DIV3 respectively. If you don’t have any league rounds, it is recommended you sign up for the following divisions based on your average score (AS) while playing 18 holes from the white tees:

DIV1: AS < 52

DIV2 : 52 < AS < 57

DIV3: 57 > AS

At the end of each session, each players’ average will be calculated and divisions will be reassigned. The DIVW is a separate division for women. If the league continues to grow in popularity, the women’s division may split into 2 and be formatted similar to the other divisions.

League fees are $5 each week. $4 goes towards payouts while the other $1 goes towards an ace pot. There is an additional fee of $5 for your first league round of the year. This will directly go to course improvements (new basket anchors, tee pad improvements, etc.) Good luck and have fun!
