We had another great round out at NorthRidge Church last week for league. The weather stayed clear for us & we took advantage by playing the full course, or at least 18 of the 19 total holes. We ran holes 2-19 from the short pads, with a couple of the pins being in the long positions. Sprow/Jopps took solo first cash by 2 strokes with a -9 score! ::claps:: Second & third cash was split evenly between Riddle/Kim & Cser/Adkins, both teams shooting -7. Last cash was also split evenly between Herron/Wolodkin & Quiton/Waitr, each team with a -6 score.

League will be held at Bandemer Park tomorrow (July 16th) as well as next week (July 23rd). The weather is looking uncertain & there could be a chance or rain… or it could be sunny & no rain at all. Seems to be a bit of a trend with Wednesday league rounds this summer. Either way, we’ll look forward to seeing everyone out at Bandy tomorrow!

League Round Announcemment for tomorrow, July 9th:

We are back at NorthRidge for the round. We are planning on playing a different layout, this time 2-19. We want to provide you with a chance to the play the holes we have not yet put into the rotation for our league rounds.

Please park near hole 12's Teepad (photo included in the pictures tab, switch to classic version for easy viewing). We will utilize this parking spot to provide us the opportunity to get through some of the holes with mandos, as well as those with water before it starts to get dark.

We will also work on providing you with a printed copy of OBs and mandos that are in play for the round tomorrow evening.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow evening. Enjoy your Tuesday and drive safe getting to the course tomorrow evening.

Northridge is a fun addition to the WC Glow rotation of courses. 28 players joined us there last week & we hope everyone had a great time! We played a 1-9 hole layout, twice, with alternate shortened tee pads on holes 1 & 9. Taking solo first cash was Weilacher/Wiedenfeld with a -10 score!! Second cash went to Common/Adkins, shooting -9. Third & fourth (last) cash was split evenly between Sprow/Murphy & Jopps/Kapp, both teams with a -8 score.

Steve Wolodkin got an ace on Hole 4!! Excellent shot man! Steve took home $97 from the ace pool & added an additional 30 points to his league standing.

This week’s league round on July 9th will be at Northridge Church. The weather is currently calling for a chance of rain during the day with the percentage falling off as the evening goes on. Temps should be around 75º-80º. We are still figuring some of the details out for this round, so please keep an eye out for an update on Disc Golf Scene and/or Facebook. We’re excited to see everyone out at Northridge on Wednesday!

26 players came to Mary Beth Doyle for our league round last week. The weather was threatening all day long, but the evening skies were clear with hot & very humid air temps. We played the Short pad layout, which lead to an extremely hot score of -18 shot by Riddle/Quiton!! This score included an ace from Eli on hole 16. Sick round guys! There was a 5-way tie for second thru last cashing spots between Fulton/Chapman, Arnet/Thelen, Chilly/Weilacher, Brayton/Adams & Lake/Neal, all teams with -15 scores. They decided to throw off from Hole 2 which resulted in Fulton/Chapman $40, Arnet/Thelen $20 & Chilly/Weilacher $10.

Bill Chapman also snagged an ace that evening on Hole 3!! He & Eli both took home $70 each & added 30 points to their leaderboard standings. Congrats friends!

OK, we waited until there was a better picture as to what weather we are dealing with. With the forecasted stuff coming in as well as potential for ongoing severe weather/lightning, we are going to cancel league for this evening. We HATE to cancel league nights as we all look forward to them. We will HOPE that the forecast and conditions are better for next week's round. I will be out not be at league next week and Nate will be handling things in my absence.

Last week at Bandemer 28 players came out on a toasty early summer evening. There was temps in the low 80s, high humidity & relatively clear skies, which made for a great evening to play a mixed layout of WBR+RW. Taking solo first cash with a -16 score was Common/M.Kelly! ::claps:: Second cash went to Sprow/Weilacher, shooting -15. Third cash was taken by Brayton/Krumm with a -13 score & last cash went to Watts/Quiton, shooting -12.

We’re scheduled to be at Mary Beth Doyle for our round tomorrow (June 18th). There is a possibility of thunder/lightning storms in the evening that we’re keeping an eye on. We will plan to make an update via Disc Golf Scene & Facebook if we have to cancel the round due to threatening weather. Hopefully the weather passes & we’re able to play!

27 players joined us for our league round last week at Bandemer, which was a great turnout considering the threat of poor weather & possible storms. We played a W+R layout to speed things up & potentially get everyone off the course before the storms came through. Hot score for the evening was -14, shot by Quiton/T.Magner, taking solo first cash! There was a 3-way tie for the remaining cashing spots between Common/Armstrong, Thelen (Cali) & Brayton/Arnet, all teams with a -13 score. A disc flip decided that Common/Armstrong would take home the majority of that cash payout.

Congrats to John Blansett for hitting a skip ace on Hole 7 from the Red pad. He collected $174 from the ace pot & added 30 points to his league standings.

We’ll be back at Bandemer for this coming week’s round on Wednesday, June 11th. The pedestrian/vehicle bridge that was under construction last week is now open & we will be using the normal (North) parking lot for registration, roll call & partner assignments. Registration will open at 7pm & will close at 7:30pm. Please plan appropriately to get registered within the allotted time frame. We’ll look forward to seeing everyone out at Bandy in a couple days!

4 ACES in 1 round?! INCREDIBLE!! We had played 7 rounds during the Spring/Summer 2025 season without anyone acing & the ace pool reaching almost $600. It was definitely time for one or multiple aces to happen & last Wednesday was the night for it. Scott Jones, hit 2 aces in one night, on holes 1 & 14. Lindsey Watts also aced hole 14. Bill Chapman got one on hole 3. Congratulation Scott, Lindsey & Bill!!

There was a great turnout of 30 players, even with some rain showing up in the beginning of our round & tapering off as the night went on. With the potential of storms coming through, we decided to play the Winter Loop x2 (1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18) to keep everyone relatively close to the parking lot. We played long pads on the front nine & short pads on the back nine (on holes that both pads are available). With the rain holding off for the most part & a shorter layout lead to lots of hot scores. There was a 3-way tie for first through third cashing spots, all teams with -17 scores, between Pilon/M.Kelly, Trombley/Wolodkin & Chilson/Chapman. They flipped to see who would walk with the majority of the cash & Pilon/M.Kelly won the flip. There was also a tie for last cash between Sprow/Qution & Perras/Sweet, both teams shooting -16. A disc flip decided that Sprow/Quiton would walk with the payout.

For the upcoming league round on June 4th at Bandemer, players MUST USE THE SOUTH PARKING LOT. The North parking lot where we normally hold registration will not be accessible due to the vehicle/pedestrian bridge being closed for construction. We will be holding registration in the South parking lot near the walking path by the BMX park & closest to Hole 4 Blue. Please enter the parking lot from Main Street & Lake Shore Drive for this week's league. A map image has been added to the photo/pictures tab for the league for further clarification. This is the SAME location we used when the north entry was previously closed for construction. If you have any questions regarding this direction, please message Scott Sprow or Nate Krumm.

We will still be holding league at Bandemer this week, but will need to utilize the dirt parking lot on the south side of the park. This lot is located near the dirt bike trails and down the path about 40 yards or so fromthe Blue Tee for Hole 4.

Please enter from Main Street for this week's league (06.04.2025). I will drop a map with not-so fancy drawings on it to help you with finding the lot in the photo/pictures tab for the league.

This is the SAME location we used when the north entry was previously closed for construction.

We had threatening weather last week with predicted rain, but that didn’t stop 18 players from coming out to Mary Beth Doyle for league! We played the Winter Loop x2 (1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18) to keep everyone close to the parking lot incase of lightning, but we added some alternates to mix it up. We played alternate 1 (sidewalk near parking lot to 1s basket), alt 3 (abandoned pad across from 4 long to 3s basket) and alt 14 (14s pad to 17s basket). Brayton/Thelen took solo first cash with a -16 score! Good shooting guys! Second & third (last) cash was split evenly by Sprow/Oid & Weilacher/Krumm, both teams shooting -14.

28 players came out for a round at Bandemer even with slightly threatening weather. Luckily the weather held off for the most part besides a sprinkling of rain. We played a RWB + RW layout which proved to be a little more difficult than the previous week at Bandy. Taking solo first cash with a -11 score was Perras/Blansett. Nice work guys! There was a 5-way tie for the remaining three cashing spots. A throw off from Hole 1 Red determined that Common/Clauder would take the majority of the payout & Sprow/Howard would get the remaining cash. O’Leary/Sweet, Weilacher/Ritter & Hanna/Adkins were also in the 5-way tie & throw off. All 5 of those teams shot a -10 score.

We received another great weather night for league....great weather, and good playing conditioins on the course. We had 31 players join in for the round at Bandemer. We threw in some Blue tees into the mix with probably the best night imaginable for play. We played the BWR-R layout, which produced some really HOT scorees. We DID have to throw in Alt 7 (8 Blue tee pad to 7's basket).

At the top of the scoring was a pair of -16s by Clauder/Fifer and Trombley/Weilacher....they chose to split cash. Right on their heels was a -15 by Crouch/Sweet, and a -14 by Ballios/Buse. Last cash saw a 3-way tie between Braytton (cali), Hanna/Wolodkin, and Quiton/Thelen. They flipped discs for the last cashing spot, and Brayton won the flip.

We want to thank The Tommons for donating a sweet CTP for the round. From my quick glance, it looked like it include a disc, Lions gear (a tumbler or maybe cup/mug), and at least another item or two. Very kind and much appreciated by everyone!

What a good night for golf. Lots of friends and a few new faces joined us for the round at MBD. We had not only decent weather, but also 29 players to play the Even LONGS - Odd SHORTS layout. Top score on the night was a -14 by Wolodkin/M. Kelly. HOT round guys! Close on their heals was a pair of -13s by Krumm/Weilacher and Hanna/Chilly. They flipped for the payouts and Krumm/Weilacher took the majority share. Last cash was earned with a -12 by Jacob Quiton, who played cali.

35 players came out for a beautiful night at Mary Beth Doyle where we played a Long Odd - Even Short layout. The weather felt like a summer evening & was a perfect setup for scoring well. There was a tie for first & second cash between Crouch/Selig & Brayton/Lake, both teams with a blistering -17! Fantastic shooting guys! A disc flip decided that Crouch/Selig would walk with the majority of that payout. 4 teams tied for third through sixth (last) cashing spots, all teams with -14 scores. Sprow/Howard, Armstrong/Quiton, Anderson/Krumm & Neal/Weilacher flipped to see how the payout would be divided with three teams getting $20 & one team getting $10.

Been waiting for warmer weather, and since it looks like it MAY be here for good, LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!

I am proposing a used disc sale this Wednesday (4.30) at league. Bring a table (or use your vehicle's trunk) and sell that plastic that is just taking up space. I know I have MORE than my fair share of stuff that would look A LOT better in your bag being thrown, compared to just sitting on the shelf, taking up space, and crying everytime I grab another Stalker for the bag.

I'll have a bin or two of used stuff to sell (probably all Discraft). SUPER reasonably priced, nothing over $10, and likely most everything closer to $6-$8. Deals on multiples as well.

Bring your used discs, sell them to a friend this week, and make both yourself and someone else happy. I'll bring a few extra tables in the event that anyone needs one (I will have 2 extra available).

The weather for last week’s league round was MUCH better than the previous week! 31 players showed up to Bandemer to play a BWR+RW layout under clear skies with no precipitation. This resulted in a tie for first & second cash between Riddle/Quiton & Adkins/Blansett, both teams with -13 scores & deciding to split the payout evenly. There was also a tie for third & fourth cash between Weilacher/M.Fleming & Trombley/Wolodkin who both shot -12 & decided to split the cash. The last cashing spot had a 3-way tie between Sprow/Common, Herron/M.Kelly & Chilson/Perras, all teams with a -11 score. They all decided the best choice for the remaining $10 was to donate it back into the ace pool.

We had a perfect spring evening with warm temps & no precipitation… is what I’ll be saying in the near future. But last weeks round to start the 2025 Spring/Summer season was in true Michigan spring fashion. The rain started around 7pm & it continued through the evening, with it eventually turning to snow towards the end of the round & temps just above freezing all night. Needless to say, it was a pretty grueling round. 17 players braved the conditions for a White-Red layout at Bandemer. Conditions & the layout led to a tie for first & second cash between Riddle (Cali) & Clauder/Krumm, both teams with -14 scores. Last cash was taken by Quiton/Lake shooting -12.

I hope that you are having a good start to your week and have enjoyed a little free time away from league night. I was hoping to start the spring/summer season this week. It does look like we have a decent (ok, a lot) of rain in the forecast leading up to Wednesday evening.

I am not going to call/cancel the round just yet, but we will need to see what KIND of rain and such we are going to get into the evening on Wednesday. I will look to make an official decision as we get a little closer to Wednesday evening....hopefully by Wednesday early afternoon at the latest. I just want to have a good picture as to whether or not we will need to cancel/delay until next week.
