Thank you to the 26 competitors who joined us for the finale in pretty nice fall conditions on Sunday for the 27 hole showdown.
Posting the hot rounds on the day were Andy Fenlock, Troy Wagner and Jeremiah Libby. Libby was able to boost himself from 7th place to 4th in the standings with that real nice round.
Winning the Blue Division for the season is reigning, defending undisputed and now 4x Champion Andy Fenlock!
Coming out on top in the White Division is NickBe Bozogan!
Taking down the Red Division this year is Andrew Koutsavlis!

This was now my 8th year running the Sunday Devotional League. My time as league director may be coming to an end as I approach 10 years of service.

I will never let this league die because I love it so much.

Everyone is playing all 18 WHITE Tees first. After you finish 18 WHITE tees start on the hole after you finish for the 9 BLUE tees. BLUE Tees 1-3, 12-14, 16-18.

Cards will remain the same throughout.
Use caution when navigating the PDGA live scorecard. Make sure you're entering scores on the correct hole.

This Sunday 11/3 are the finals (final point series round) for the Sunday Devotional

Will be held at Knob Hill Park

We will be playing 1 (27-Hole) Final Round. 18 WHITE Tees and 9 BLUE Tees (1-3, 12-14, 16, 17 & 18).

This will be a shotgun start. Everyone will Tee off at 9am SHARP.

So please arrive by 8:45am at the latest

You will be assigned a starting hole after registration/signups are finalized. Everyone will start on the WHITE Tees.

After you play ALL 18 WHITE Tees, You will play the final 9 (BLUE Tees) starting on the hole after you finish White Tees. (You will play with the same card mates throughout) - IE. (if you start on hole 3 you play 3-18 White, 1-2 White. Then 3 BLUE - 12-14 BLUE, 16-18 BLUE, 1-2 BLUE)

I will explain this again in the parking lot before we shotgun.

I realize this will cause some confusion on the live scorecard but we will manage

Coming out on top this week was Brandon Stevens with a pretty nice looking 56 (-6)

No Aces were hit.

We had a few people move divisions so points for the points series have been adjusted. The way this works are points are transferred to your new division based on the points you would have earned had you played your previous rounds in that division. Minus one place for that given week because everyone's point tally would need adjusted otherwise
Let me know if anyone has any questions on how this works.

I usually recommend staying in your division for the entirety of the season however some times it is necessary to move people up or down throughout the course of the season. In most cases moving competitors up.

This week there will be open registration from 9am-930am. Anyone can show up and play and hop on a card during this time. The last card for open registration will tee off at 9:30am (my card) so if you're late and don't sign up for a designated tee time after open registration then you're shit out of luck. You still need to use the sign up sheet to play.

Designated tee times are still available anytime early, 8:30-8:50 & 9:40-10.

Going to try out this modified registration to see how it works so TBD if we keep rolling with it.
