Thanks to everyone that came out for the skins match on Sunday at Bob's! I hope you all had a great time!

We changed up the format a bit, where skins would still be $30 per hole, but there would be a $10 CTP on every hole, and the player with the most skins would win an additional $50.

Skins won:
David Mayers: 12 skins for $360 + $50 for most skins
Joseph LaPerna: 6 skins for $180

Big thanks to Bob for having us out at his course. He had the course looking spectacular. Also thanks again to everyone who helped support the league and made it a fun year. I will keep everyone posted on next years league when we get closer to April. The travel league is going on until the end of November, so come check it out. Have a great off-season!

Well, what a year it was! Thank you to everyone that came out tonight, and anyone that has helped support the league in general. You guys are the ones that made this such a great year. You guys rock! I also want to thank everyone that helped out tonight, either helping clean up, or helping pack up afterwards. I think it went pretty smooth! I really hope you guys had a great time tonight!

I also want to thank Discraft and Bob Julio for sponsoring us this year. They were a big part of our league growth this year. I am hoping the league grows more every year, but I am extremely grateful for each and every one of you that came out and helped support the league. Thanks again guys!

With that out of the way, we had a tie at -18 and splitting $80 between Alex Dudek/David Mayers and Don Cantwell/Greg Harrel. They threw off for the extra $10 and Alex/David won the throw off. Taking third was myself and Rob York shooting -16 and splitting $10. 50/50 CTP on hole 1 was won by Jeff Danes for $20. Great shooting everyone!

We had our raffle tonight as well, and you guys added another $100 in raffle tickets(plus $20 from the 50/50 CTP), putting the final club payouts at $1055! Thanks again for all of your guys support!!!

I'm not going to list all the winners (mostly because it was a lot and I forgot who won what lol), but taking home the Paige Pierce Grip Bag/5 disc/mini combo was Robert Smith! And winning the big prize and taking home the Chainstar Lite was Gary Chirhart!!! We also had a 50/50 raffle tonight to help pay for the beer, pizza and pop. We raised $150 for the 50/50 raffle and Christian Deasy won half of that for $75! Very nice!

We had a long season, but after all the dust was settled, David Mayers is your 2024 Club Indy Lake Points Champion!!! Great shooting this year David! Congrats!!! David wins the Club Indy Lake Trophy and takes home $100!

SKINS MATCH: The players below will be playing in the skins match. If you are interested in coming out that day, please contact me so I can get a head count. This is being played at a private course and the course usually is only open to friends/family, so if you come, please be as respectful as you can. We have come up with the date of Sept 4th, but I still have to talk with Bob to see if that works for him as well. I think a weekend would work better so we can get more league players to watch/play the course, but we will talk it out this week.

We are down to our last week!! Thanks to everyone that came out and helped make this a fun low-key league. We will be starting the raffle drawings next week at 5:30. Pizza, pop and beer will be provided. Raffle tickets for both the main raffle and the 50/50 will be available until 5:30. We will be doing a few pre-round CTPs and a longest putt for anyone that shows up as well.

Next week we will be playing the West course from the RED tees to A with holes 2, 8 and 17 to B. 50/50 will be on hole 1. Hope to see you guys next week!


**I will be starting a fall league on Sept. 11. It will be $5 buy-in and $10 ace pool ($15 all-in). This will be a travel league and will be random doubles. We will rotate every week between the following courses: Indy, Kensington, Lyons Den, and Northridge. We had one person buy into the club, and sold 30 tickets tonight. That adds another $75, plus the $10 from the 50/50, putting the club payouts to $837! End of year payouts, as of right now, will go as follow:

Each skin is worth $30!

I also plan on doing a bonus for the person who gets the most skins (TBD).

Let's kick it into high gear for these last few weeks and make this as fun as we can.

We sold a ton of tickets tonight. Breakdown is as follows:
Rob Y- 20 tickets ($38 for not wanting his change)

If you buy 10, you will get 20, but no more than 10 tickets purchased will be given double tickets. Tickets are 1 for $5, 5 for $20 and 10 for $35. RobertJohn York won both CTP's on holes 5 and 16 and I won the 50/50 on hole 15. There will probably only be one CTP each week so we don't run out of discs too fast. If the league grows a bit more, I will throw in more.

Winning this week and splitting $40 was myself and Chris Smith, shooting a 47 (-10). I also finally decided to throw a good shot on the picnic table hole (hole 7 East) and aced it for $125!! Yay me!
Robert York is putting $50 back into the ace pool next week so that will start off at $50.

Chris Smith bought a membership this week. $28 was added to the Club Payouts (1 membership-$20, 50/50-$8) The total is at $388.
David Mayers, Don Cantwell and Greg Harrell all earned an extra raffle ticket this week by playing in all 4 league rounds this year. Every 4 rounds you play, you will earn a free ticket. I will put a (#) after your name on here to let you know how many extra tickets you have earned.

Two teams tied for first place this week! Rob S/Josh B and Dan L/John J split 40 dollars and threw off for 10 (I messed up payouts again and payed an extra $10 out of my pocket because I am dumb). Good shooting guys! 3rd place and winning $10 was Greg H and Jay B. Brian O and Don C won CTP's and Rob S won the 50/50 for $16.

Well, I messed up payouts and overpaid first place, but Alyse and myself agreed to pay first place our payout, so no big deal there. I will have my payouts sheet next week so everyone can see how I have payouts set up and so my dumbass can remember. With that said, winning and splitting $80 was David M and Rob Y. CTP's were won by myself, David, and Gary. 50/50 for $15 went to Dustin.

I will walk out on the course and place the CTP and 50/50s next week so there are no issues. If you come to hole that you know is a CTP or 50/50 and you don't see a flag, please put something down to mark your CTP and contact me and we will figure it out. I want this to be as fair to everyone as possible. Sorry to those who didn't see any CTP flags out there. I will always post the holes for the CTPs and 50/50 here and on the Facebook group.

Members will get 100% ace payout, non members will get 75%. We will be doing a free pre round CTP for a disc. I also will have my net and radar up pre round as well. CTP's will be on holes 2, 8, 17 and the 50/50 will be on hole 11. Raffle tickets will be available at league starting today as well with a chance to win a Chainstar Lite as the main prize. We are one week away from the start of our third year of leagues! We will be starting off playing the West course to the A position. We will have THREE FREE CTP's the first week! CTP's will be on holes 2, 8 and 17. 50/50 will be on hole 11. $12 all in ($5 buy in, $5 ace pool, $2 50/50). 5PM cut off.

$650 ace pool to start the year!

The club fee is $20(optional). With your club membership, you will get a bag tag, 100% ace pool payout (non members will get 75%), and will be in the points series, where the top 5 players in points will earn some cash, as well as gain entry into the '2nd Annual Club Indy Skins Match'! Last year was a lot of fun and was played on a private course so we wouldn't hold up casual golfers trying to play. The course may change depending on member input.

Bag tags will be turned in prior to every league round. If you are playing with another league member in a different league or casual round, you will be playing for tags! The person with the #1 tag at the end of the season will win a prize (probably discs and swag). I only have 20 bag tags, so get them while they last!

We will be doing a raffle all season, with 100% of money collected going to Club payouts and the skins match. Top prize is a Chainstar Lite provided by our sponsor this year, Discraft! There will be 6 (potentially more) prizes to win. I will post tickets sold/money earned each week from the raffle so I can be 100% transparent with everyone. We will do the drawing the last week of leagues. If you are not attending that week, I will find a way to get your prize to you. Tickets will be $5/per or $20 for 5. Also, every 4 rounds you play in the league, you will earn an additional ticket. If you play 4 league rounds, you will earn 1 ticket, but if you play 7 league rounds, its still just 1 ticket. If you play 12 rounds, you will gain 3 tickets, but if you play in 15 rounds you will still only earn 3 tickets. It has to be every 4 rounds (4/8/12/16). I will add the additional tickets to the raffle tub the last week of the season, then we will do the drawing.

We are now sponsored by Discraft! Big thanks to Bob Julio and Discraft for such a great opportunity! That being said, Discraft sent us some goodies for this year, one being a Chainstar Lite! We will be doing a raffle for the Chainstar Lite, as well as 4 or 5 other raffle items to help build funds for the end of year payout pool. The raffle will be $5 a ticket or 5 for $20. Also, there will be ways to make free tickets as well. For every 4 league rounds you play, you will get an extra ticket. These weeks do not have to be back to back, just overall. This raffle will go on the whole season, and tickets will only be sold during the league and the drawing will be on the last week of the season (8/21). If you cannot attend that week, I will get your prize to you somehow. We can always meet up for a round or just meet up. 100% of the money raised from the raffle will go into the end of the year payout pool. I will post weekly on how many raffle tickets are sold every week when I post the weekly league results. I also am creating hoodies and shirts to purchase soon.
