Wow! Winter has settled in now. With temperatures below zero, snow, ice, and wind. However Putt for Dough-Nuts League is heating up! This week was the first set up of the putting course, and the layout was tough. There were elevated baskets, low ceiling putts, obstacles, step outs, turn overs, hyzers, straddle putts, and a lot of laughs. Next week we’ll be back at 7:00 in the Hyde Park Elementary School Gym. We’ll don our court shoes, remove some layers, and Putt For Dough-Nuts.

Putt For Dough-Nuts League had a record turnout this week. We brought back the survivor game to try with a fresh crowd and played Around The World. The 5$ buy in has been suspended for less competition and more family fun! Yep! It’s nearly week three and Saturday at 7:00 in the Hyde Park Elementary School Gym is where you’ll find us; the Putt For Dough-Nuts League.

Week one recap.

Putt For Dough-Nuts League is real. It was a happening time on a Saturday night. We honed our skills with a new format called Survivor. This team based game not only knocked some of the dust off but also worked on comaraderie, pressure putts, and consistency. A champion was named and they are probably wondering how these North Country Donuts are so good! Next week we will be in the Hyde Park Elementary School Gym again. Starting at 7pm for warmups and then ending around 9pm. Thanks to everyone that came and participated. We are looking forward to next week where there will be a new format, more friends, and more dough on the line.
