This is the official Bag Tag League for members of Upstate Disc Golf Club in 2024. Players should submit results for individual matches they play with other club members. Page admins will enter results from large local tournaments and leagues. If you play in a tourney and wish to remind admins to enter the results, please make a comment in the comments section and we will update when we have time available.

Rules:
1. Bag tags are automatically in play for PDGA Sanctioned singles events. Total score will be used to determine tag holders for multi round events. (Effective 2/13/24)
2. Players with the lowest 33% of tags, must defend their tag at least once per month. If they fail to do so, they can be demoted to the higher tag number that is outside of the top 33%. (Effective 2/13/24)
3. Players may challenge tag holders for a tag match. The challenge must be documented on the league site comments section. The two should agree on a format, but the challenged gets to pick a course that is reasonable for both parties to meet and play. The challenged player has 2 weeks to hold the match. The location and time must be posted in the comments of the bag tag league page in case anyone else wants to join. A tag holder is only required to answer challenges once every half month, but can choose to answer more if they wish. If there are multiple challengers, then the best tag number takes priority over others for scheduling purposes. If you fail to honor a challenge in the manner described above, your tag will be demoted to outside of the top 33% of the league or to below that of the challenger (whichever is more penalizing.
