The PDGA rules update for 2024 requires all players to keep their own official score in all sanctioned rounds, and submit it within 30 minutes of when their group finished their round. A player who has not submitted their scorecard on time receives two penalty throws. Players may delegate scorekeeping duties only to their designated caddie.
