About this league

The Gnar Par disc golf challenge at Breaking Free Skatepark is back for 2024.

Join us at Breaking Free Skatepark for a series of totally unique disc golf experiences. This 9 station challenge will test your ability to make every type of putt as well as throw highly technical shots. This year we are adding a glow/cosmic disc golf experience for weeks 2, 4, and 6. This will be a one of a kind black light disc golf environment. Weeks 1, 3, and 5 will offer a Sunday morning tee time for those who cannot attend on Monday nights. Each event will have tee times at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8 pm, and 9pm. Weeks 1, 3, & 5 will have an additional 8:30 am tee time on Sunday. I have revamped and simplified the scoring for this year. I am currently talking with Udisc to get the “course” on the app so we can use live scoring. This year we will utilize a traditional league format where you get 2 points for each person you beat, bonus points for winning your card, and bonus points for the overall winner. This will be tracked on here (https://www.discgolfscene.com/leagues/The_Gnar_Par_Challenge_2023) Your best 3 weeks count toward your total score. Additionally, winning your card rewards you priority registration for the following week and winning the week gets you free entry into the following week. The top finishers will be invited to pop up pirate course and bbq this spring in a location to be named later. We will also pay out a cash bonus for a few categories. Registration for week 1 is live now at https://breakingfreeskatepark.square.site/ . Each following week’s registration will be available once the previous week scores have been posted.
