Week 7 Layout: We will be playing all 24 holes this Monday. Please avoid fivesomes and when possible create groups of three to help everyone navigate the course before darkness falls. Holes 4, 8, 12, and 13 will play as par fours. We will have the. drop zone on hole 2 for any disc that lands in the sticker thicket.

I won't be announcing a layout for Monday's League round until Monday morning. I'm currently at Ledgestone, and with the inclement weather that we've been experiencing lately, I want to wait until the last possible moment to set the layout. It will be 18, 19, or 20 holes most likely. I will post the layout here on Disc Golf Scene and also on several Facebook pages.

WEEK 4 UPDATE:

We've got some special guests this week. Jonathan Ray is bringing the Dynamic Discs mobile fly mart and Hyzer1 Sports will be on hand with their selection of disc golf apparel. Both sponsors will be set up by 3 p.m.

Heavy rains earlier this week left several holes with standing water as of Sunday. We will play a modified layout consisting of 19 holes: 1-3, 6-10, 12-15, and 18-24. Par 4s on 8, 12 and 13. All water on the course, with the exception of the Elkhart River, will be played as casual. Players will have greater casual relief from standing water and large brush piles. Check with me before your round if you have questions.

The PDGA digital scorecard will have all the details. It's your responsibility to follow the correct layout. Failure to do so may lead to a two stroke penalty for misplaying the course. There is a new password for the digital scorecard. It seems that mcsl23 was too tricky to remember. My apologies. This week the password will be: noidea

This will be our first week to play hole 2. There will be a drop zone for lost discs on this hole. You and your group (everyone should help search) have three minutes to look for a disc. Once that time has elapsed, the disc is considered lost. Should you lose your disc you will head to the drop zone rather than re-throwing from the previous lie or the tee box. Although, you may choose to re-tee or use your previous lie if you'd like. You may resume the search for your disc after your round.

The Hazy Chains Disc Golf CTP will be on hole 1 with the Chain Therapy CTP on hole 24.
Please remember to enter at the main gate to the park. Do not use the maintenance entrance (even if you have an annual pass). A few weeks back, a park employee had a very close call with an unauthorized vehicle driven by someone using the entrance.

You may still join the league. Stop by the picnic table near hole 24 to sign up or pay the weekly entry. See you soon!
