The inaugural season of Cleveland Disc Golf's Summer Putting League kicks off June 1st! It will run for 9 weeks, every Thursday in the courtyard of The Museum and Cultural Center at 5ive Points (200 Inman St. E) from 6-7 pm (check-in starting at 5:30) until August 3rd (with a break on June 29th). There will be prizes every week (cash, discs, etc.) and grand prizes at the end of the season. The cost is $7 each night.

Players must be 18+

FORMAT
10 Holes/Stations (each with two different distance options)
In the allotted time (35 min.), each player must throw two shots at 7 of the 10 holes
Players can throw at practice baskets between their scored throws
After all players have completed two throws at 7 different holes, any ties are broken by shootout and prizes are awarded to the top three scorers
The night ends with a prize drawing and optional Ace Run contest (order determined by nightly player #s / winners-take-all / divided equally between all players to ace)

5:30-6:00 pm – Sign-in/Warmup/Tutorial
6:00-6:35 pm – Competition
6:35-6:40 pm – Tiebreakers
6:40-6:55 pm – Ace Runs
6:55-7:00 pm – Awards & Prizes

GAMEPLAY & SCORING
During the 35 minutes of regular gameplay, each player will throw two shots at 7 different holes of the 10 available holes (played in any order they choose)
Each hole has two distance options, each with different point values (listed below)
Players receive a bonus point for making both throws from the same distance
Players cannot abandon a hole once they have thrown the first shot, but may choose to change distances for their second throw
Your shots must be observed by a different player at each hole you play and your score recorded on the digital scorecard by the observing player
Ideally, both players would play the hole together and record each other's scores
Players are responsible for keeping track of which holes they have completed
Once all players have completed 7 holes, ties for highest scores are broken by way of a shootout
Nightly point totals accumulate throughout the nine-week season
Players receive an additional 10 points toward their season total every time their score is higher than the previous night they attended

NIGHTLY PRIZES

New Disc to 3rd
New Disc/Apparel Drawing (all participants)
Ace Pot = 100% payout
$1 per ace run attempt (3 max)
Order is based on player # (arrival order)
Pot is split evenly between all players who ace
Cash carries over to the next week if no one aces

3rd - Prize Pack (Discs/Apparel/Surprises)
Any tie at the end of the season will be broken by a shootout
