This will be the last BiF doubles of the year. Last week the ace pot was hit so this week there won't be an ace pot. Instead of an ace pot I will be switching to $9 optional cash CTPs. You can choose your hole to play CTP or bring an extra $9 and get to throw for CTP on every hole. So if you want to put $3 in for CTP you may choose 3 baskets you'd like to battle for CTP. Aces count for CTP. The $5 entry will still be required to join and the payouts will be the same as always. It's been a great season and I'm happy to have met and played with so many of you. Well tomorrow you'll need to put your money where you mouth is because the woods will be full of hazards and ob. If you can walk the walk and avoid the extra strokes you might just come out on top. So if you hit first available on hole 3 and your partner hits the cage, the other team will have you throw from the disc that whacked the first tree. Aces will count. This weeks entrée will be a simple 18 hole random flip doubles. One CTP is available at the moment. If you'd like to make it a potluck feel free to bring something and put it up for CTP. Maybe you'll meet THE ONE at the practice basket before the round. Maybe you'll both reach into the basket to grab your putter and you'll both grab the same disc only to find out that you both throw the same putter. You know what they say, partners that putt together stay together. Anyways... Third place gets their buy-in back, second gets 25% of the buy-ins, First place takes 75%. There will be an option cash CTP pot and the ace pot is at an even $80 dollars. The question is, if you hit the ace will you take it all or treat your partner to a candle lit dinner? Because it's Friday dubs, where romance and discs soar... Or whatever

Friday 28ths round ended up with 25 people battling it out. 7 ctps were snatched up and plenty of strokes were lost due to the looming OB around the course. The ace pot has grown to over $60 and with as many people that have been showing up every week, will probably be over $80 after next week's buy-in. The next BiF will have a cash CTP and other prizes in play. To enter the cash CTP you will have to enter into the pot with another $1. All other ctps are in play with your buy-in. Rules for next week's round will be posted here mid week. Help get the word out about BiFd and enjoy the beautiful weekend.

This Friday's random doubles will be celebrating the hottest day of the year so far. No need for swim suits but bring your Hawaiian shirts because we will be littering the course with Manageable OB and islands. The holes will be set up in the short positions. There are going to be ctps all over. The ace pot has grown to $40 before tomorrow's buy-ins. If you would like to bring a disc for CTP bring it and pick the hole. We will be starting a disc swap/donation party before each round. Many of us have discs that haven't found a spot in our bags and are wasting away never to feel the joy of splashing chains or hitting the first available tree. Well you can bring it to the swap and maybe find some new plastic or donated to someone that's just starting out or has been looking for that same disc.
