We will be meeting at Burch tomorrow and plan to do awards at 6pm - you will be able to pick up shirts, discs and awards then. There is still $66 in the B Pool ace pool, all players who have paid in will have a chance to CTP in the field for this prize. There will also be a totally optional $5 A/B Pool mixed doubles on Short/Shorts if anyone wants to play. Thanks all for a great season!

Appreciate the players packs. Suggestion for next year: let us know if you plan to automatically order ladies cut shirts for the ladies. Since there was no mention of ladies cut shirts, I chose my size based on unisex shirts and didn’t think there was a need to specify. I was surprised when I got it- That ladies 2x might have been comparable to a unisex Schmedium. Passed it on to a friend that would enjoy it, but was a bit of a bummer.

Hey Everyone! Cash payouts have been sent to all players who have PayPal on file with the club! Sorry for the delay on that, I was whooped on Wednesday when I got home, and then last night before I could do it, power went out and well, here we are. I don't have PayPal for Curtis Smith, Nathan Lindley & have spoke to them about it, but I also need to get in touch with Kaila Redfield about payment too.

Medals! I mentioned to some people, but our medal order came incorrect, so once the corrected order arrives I will be contacting you all to disperse those. Thanks again everyone for playing this year and have a great rest of your summer!

This week B Pool is playing Renegade's Trail - 2022 CCR Open FPO layout (see udisc for pads/pins) Road and over are OB where applicable, as are sand traps (rocks are not OB) Play hole 17 as a hazard, if you do not make the island - play your lie with a penalty stroke.

Attention all players: Do not throw extra shots during your league rounds. I know we all love playing and throwing, and there's always the 'what if's but our league is not small. We have more than a full tournament's worth of players trying to get through the courses each Wednesday, and every extra throw or extra putt (even though you're not counting them or playing from them) reverberate through the entire field. Please be respectful of your fellow players and let me know directly if you see any behavior that needs to be addressed.

Good Evening All! Congratulations to Zack Simmons for hitting a B Pool Ace on hole 5 of Rivers Edge last week for $462! The ace pool grows back to $66 for the rest of the season and the A Pool Ace pool has topped out at a whopping $988!! This is the 15th week of league (and ace pool was $15 so $1 per week for 15 weeks) so the ace pool will not grow again next week. If No one in A Pool clears the ace in the last two weeks, we will have an event at awards to distribute it.

This week A Pool is playing Rivers Edge - Use white paint where applicable for OB's. Hole 1 sidewalk and over towards the winter sports building is OB, road and over long of basket is OB. Hole 2: Parking lot and over is OB. Hole 3: Sidewalk long & over is OB. Hole 5: Volleyball pit sand is OB. Hole 6: Road and over long is OB. Hole 7 Road and over left is OB. Hole 8: Road and over right is OB. Hole 9 Parking lot and over right is OB. Hole 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18: River is Ob.

This week A Pool is Playing Grand Woods Park - 21 Holes. Play OG 5 & 6, ABC, and Short 13. Race track is OB on hole 1, if there is water on the left of hole 2 play as casual. River & over is OB where applicable, as is the pond. In or over the creek right side of hole 8 is also OB.

Attention All Players - Due to weather 7/26, I am extending the round this week for a makeup Thursday - Saturday (normally it is through Tuesday, but we need to have berths out by 8/1). Initially it appeared that the weather was going to blow through around 4, now the radar shows another red cell developing behind the front that may also come through around 6-7. It IS Michigan after all, so we may get nothing more than a sprinkle, but since I cannot be sure it will be safe for all players, makeup rounds will be available on UDisc after I hit post.

A reminder for players who have played already - Players who have completed their round prior to the cancellation may decide to keep their scores and not play the makeup round. However, if a player plays the makeup round, they must keep the score from that round, they cannot play the makeup round and keep the better of the two scores.

Possible Severe Weather Tomorrow: as of right now, the forecast has a possible severe thunderstorm coming in tomorrow (7/26) with torrential rain, hail, and tornados all a possibility. This would definitely qualify as unsafe playing conditions.

I am keeping an eye on the forecast, but if that comes to fruition tomorrow, we NOT be playing on Wednesday and will instead extend the round availability for a few days.

If this happens, I will post again with the info. Most likely I'll make the decision tomorrow before noon.

A reminder of the round cancellation policy from the about document: If a round is canceled, a makeup round will be posted on UDisc that will be open to all players from Thursday after the canceled date through Tuesday prior to the next league round.

Players who have completed their round prior to the cancellation may decide to keep their scores and not play the makeup round. However, if a player plays the makeup round, they must keep the score from that round, they cannot play the makeup round and keep the better of the two scores.

If the cancellation happens while players are actively in the middle of a round, players should leave the course and not finish scoring their round. If this happens, players have the option to finish their incomplete round from where they left off during the makeup period, or start the round fresh.

Good Morning All, Scores are updated, and now drops are included! As of now, 9 out of 12 weeks are scored with your lowest 3 dropped from the overall totals. These are closer to final scores! - There was a mixup with the first post where I counted wrong, only some small changes overall.

As stated in the about document, points after the round this Wednesday will be the totals calculated for State Berths, our current leaders in our most populous 5 divisions are as follows:

MA1 - Curtis Lafond
MA2 - Daniel Doty or Adam Smith (29 points difference)
MA3 - Jake Clark (No PDGA) or Brandon Fox (25 points difference)
MA4 - Brandon Lightfoot (No PDGA) or Gregory VanTilburg (7 points difference)
MA40 - Robert Harris

Jake Clark and Brandon Lightfoot, if either of you win after points are updated tomorrow, I will reach out to see if you are interested in the berth. If you are, you will have to have a current PDGA registration by the end of the week to receive the berth, or it will go to the next eligible player.

This week A Pool will be playing Rivers Edge - For OB's please utilize the paint still on the ground from CCR Open, white paint will be OB lines.

B Pool will be playing Trinity Disc Golf Course - Play short pad on 17, OB's will be sidewalk and over, parking lot and over (both where applicable) and the water in the ditch on 17. I know some of the hills were flagged OB during CCR Open, but I am not 100% sure those flags are all there, so we will not play the hills as OB for the league round.

This week A Pool is at Fitzgerald Park - Road and over OB, Parking lot & Over OB. Over fence on right side of 5 OB, Over hay bales on 6 is OB - on 6 OB line ends where hay bales end. Cement pad in play on 9 & 18 is OB, as is road and over in that area. Be mindful of safety on ledges.

This week B Pool is at Trinity Church - Play the alternate cement tee pad on 17 that is across the ditch to the right side of it. Score card will still say it's a par 4, but just mark your strokes as normal. OB's are sidewalks and over on the street side of the course, parking lots and over (grass medians are OB still) River is OB, and the water in the ditch on hole 17 is OB.
