VERY IMPORTANT
Team Captain/Manager Meeting will be on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 6pm to 7pm at a location TBD. (This meeting will go over the rules , the season schedule, and a Q&A session)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VERY IMPORTANT
If you want to be a Team Captain/Manager, please indicate when you sign up.
If you have your squad, send an email with your name and the players names (they must sign up here or they will not be added to your team)
Send your email to me at this address: [email redacted]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VERY IMPORTANT
If you do not have a team already, you will be randomly placed on a team to fill out the league needs.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PDGA Tournament Rules apply (no casual rounds).
All rounds will be played as each course has been designed. OB's, Water Hazards, etc., applies.
All rounds will be played from the "short" tee pads if applicable at scheduled course.
If all players are present and both Team Captains/Managers agree, the round may start as early as agreed.
Each doubles team will face off against their opponents doubles teams in a staggered format, ie. Card 1 start at Hole 1, Card 2 start at Hole 3, and Card 3 start at Hole 5
Each card must complete all 18 holes. Incomplete round will forfeit the point to the other team and a scorecard cannot be submitted. If both teams don't finish, then it is a draw and no points will be awarded to either team.
Each round will be scored on UDisc.
Team Captains/Managers will submit their final score to the League Manager at: [email redacted]

Weather
All weather related postponed matches will be announced, NLT than 1 hour before the start time, however; can be postponed sooner with weather forecasts suggest it.
The announcement will be on the DGIF Facebook page: Disc Golf In Faith (https://www.facebook.com/groups/477493541036227/)
All matches will be played in inclement weather with the exception of the following, but not limited to:
- torrential downpour
- lightning
- Tornado watches/warnings
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SEASON FORMAT: **
1. There will be 8, 6 person teams (each team will be allowed to have 2 subs to fill in in the absence of one of the 6 players for a total of 8 players, subs are not mandatory)
- Rosters will be final NLT March 30, 2023.
(No walk-ons during the middle of the season and players, including subs; cannot
play for multiple teams)
- Team Captains/Mangers must submit a copy of their Line Up to the opposing Team
Captain/Manger 5 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled match. (Failure to do
so, will cost team with the late roster 1 stroke penalty for the start of the round for
each doubles team)
- If a team is short players, they can use a substitute and must be present at the due
time of the Line Up swap.
- If there is no sub available, that team can elect to play one player against that
random doubles opponent
The player without a doubles partner will only get one throw from each lie. (There
will not be allowed a 2nd throw at each lie to offset missing player)
NOTE: Team Captains/Managers this is where your strategy on your Line Up will be
most important, so chose wisely who will go solo against an opponent.
* The team with the complete doubles opponent will play their throws as a normal
doubles round.
2. Each team will have a Team Captain/Manager
3. Each team will play 7 games/matches for the season (1 match against each team in the league)
4. Play will be "Match Play". Each team will have 3 doubles teams (their line-up) and will have a random draw to play their opponent that scheduled match.
- Each doubles match win will tally '1' point for your team.
- If a team scores an ACE/s during scheduled round, that team will be awarded one
additional point, for each ACE, to their teams total score.
- The team with the most points earned after 18 holes played by each doubles team, wins the entire match.
5. At the end of the season, there will be a playoff (playoff bracket determined by season standings) in which the last team standing will win a traveling trophy and have their team name engraved on it. (That team will defend it the following season)
