Hey everyone, we will be hosting a bonus league night at Sunny Lake tomorrow night. Random Draw Doubles, $5 all in (no ace or CTP), 5:30 tee off. Those who attended at least 2 weeks of our Sunny Lake Sanctioned League will be eligible for 3 different CTPs each worth $45.

Hi All, there is no league tonight! Our 10 week session has come to a close. I am currently planning to host one more week on September 7 and thinking about making it more casual and potentially doubles. We need to get this Ace Pot distributed so that's the main purpose there. Anyone who has paid into the ace pot 2 or more times will be eligible for a shot at the ace pot via CTPs (If no ace is hit). Will communicate a solid plan when it's final. Thanks!

Well gang, it's really agonizing for me to make these decisions but I'm going to cancel league at SL tonight. The radar doesn't look friendly until 7:30 or so from what I'm seeing. If it was just rain, who cares, but it looks like there's a threat of thunderstorms and that's a recipe for disaster. I'm sorry to disappoint. My current plan is to run another week of league to make up for this one and I'm considering the potential for doubles. That way we can hand out the ace pot and tie a bow on this session! Quick announcement about Week 9: The final card was only able to make it through 17 holes before serious lightning triggered a stoppage. I know this is really unfortunate but we're going to have to submit this round with the common holes only (so through hole 17). Cam, unfortunately you're the only one negatively impact and your score is going to increase by one stroke. When we faced a similar situation previously, the PDGA advised us we could create a new layout up to 17 holes or submit the scorecard with pars for the final two holes for everyone. We're going to do the latter since it's way easier. Another note: Hunter Palshook shows up as MA1 on the scorecard but was playing MA2 as he is eligible. PDGA live doesn't quite understand what to do when someone plays under two divisions for a league. Will get this all entered and payouts sent out soon. Thanks!

Well we certainly ran into a little more rain than expected but I hope most players were done or almost done when the rain hit! Special shoutout to the group that played the last several holes in the downpour. We had a small but mighty 12 players this week. Matt Mazur shot the hot round at -7. So sorry for the delay in sending payouts but they have now been sent and week 7 is final. Congrats to Evan Muzilla for shooting the hot round at -6 and winning the MPO/MA1 pool and to David Bender for shooting a blazing hot -5 and winning the MA2 pool! We're looking at a beautiful day after some earlier rain. The ace pot has jumped to $110 after last week. See you all soon!

We had an absolutely perfect night for disc golf yesterday with some solid scores coming in. Nick Bartolomucci shot a really strong -4 to win his division by 5 strokes. Matt Mazur shot the hot round of the session at -8. The ace pot climbs to $76. If not ace is hit, we will do 2 or 3 CTPs to distribute the pot in week 10. Only those who have attended more than one week will be eligible. Payments have been sent and week 6 is final. See you all next week!

Regretfully I am making the decision to cancel league at Sunny Lake today. Earlier in the day it seemed like we might be able to squeeze in but it looks like we may get sone nasty storms and with so many trees and holes far from the parking lot, I would hate to put anyone at risk. Week 1 is in the books! We had 17 Disc golfers join us for our first week and I know many others couldn't make it this time around. Ratings came in much lower than anticipated, we're still trying to figure out why. I may place a call to the PDGA to inquire. Either way, congrats to Evan Muzilla on the hot round at -6! The ace pot grows to $24. We will be playing the white layout again next week. Matt will be out so Sam and Andy will be running check in. Have a great week out there!

Time: 5:00-5:45pm Flex Start
Flex Start: When you have a card of three, you can tee off
Scoring: PDGA Live Scoring
Note: I encourage multiple live scorers or a UDisc backup. Issues do occur.
Fees: $10 with option $2 ace fund
