Season II Coming to Courses Near By Soon -

We are going to take a one week break after Thursday and then resume the Beatnik Routine on July 13, 2023 at Prospect Park for a return visit ( and second round on that course so it could establish a handicap for the few who played it first time) , then back to Wallace for a week before venturing off to Greg's Course on the Thursday before DisCap Monthly in July.

I like to propose that the top 4 leaders in points are the feature card for Thursday and then others continue the tradition of flipping the disc(beats).

With Week Eleven in the Books the pack has gotten tight . First to Fourth is a difference of 6.5 Points.

Who's Gonna Money the Finals Bank which is sitting at $85.00 going into the final round. Payouts to the top 40% of the Total Point Value Awarded during the season . Right Now the Point Total is 390 Points. But with a week to go and points awarded determined by attendance and place overall at the end of the round , It's still to be determined who goes home with the Bank and how much of it . How much are those top 40% of the points going to be worth ? Model is guesstimating 55 cents on a point . Come Next Week and Find out!!!

So I've asked this to a few folks and the best explanation I have gotten with regards to handicaps being - or + is that you subtract or add to PAR that handicap and then order scores appropriately. I'll need to start doing the adding scores here on site going forward in order to determine the weekly winners going forward. Thankfully the service at SPW is fine and I can log into DGS and enter the scores on my phone.

White Tees. $5.00 Buy in . I have decided to keep $1.00 from each player for every week to have a payout for end of the season overall. I have a payout bracket penciled out for up to 25 players... So the challenge is on now - make me sweat and work it out deeper tomorrow . CTP ACE and SPW Fund Voluntary @$1.00 each .

What I'll need from everyone will be registration data that I can input into the Disc Golf Scene Site later . Look for it on one of the tables under the pavillion. I'll take entry etc in the same general area.

I'll have Lost and Found and Unclaimed Discs for adoption ; Collect any Dead Disc you may have for which a 15% off a purchase from Trash Panda Disc Golf code will be provided in an e-mail or text so make sure I get that info in the book , please. I'll also have Lost and Found Discs for those whom I have contacted and we have initiated return process.

There are a whole lot of Orphans that will be up for Adoption or donated in the Lost and Found Box . Just in case there are any dead beat disc owners who don't label their discs who can ID it properly.

I'll be running my #Re-Flight School Collection during the entire league season. I'll have a collection box at the registration sign in area for any old discs that are no longer flight worthy - Donate a disc to be be Re-Flighted ( Recycled ) and I'll provide you with a code that is good for 15% off an order from Trash Panda Disc Golf . Just leave your name and either text number or better email and I'll send you the code . Any discs that are still flight worthy will be donated to either The Voorheesville Public LIbrary of Things that can be checked out to play a round or The Youth Program that is being built through Voorheesville Central School District or other local area Youth Programs

My plan is for Whites - but if there is a group that REALLY wants to play the blues on a warm spring day - I think we can improvise for some while keeping the steady beat for the rest .

A Voluntary Buck Each for CTP ACE & Course Fund
12 or 16 for CTP since they are shared.
An Ace is an Ace so doesn't matter if you play the Blues or the Snow Whites .

Course Fund Donations will be used to assist in funding major projects such as : a Gazebo or Benches .

Shooting for 10 :15ish ready for arrival - I'll have the SPW Lost and Found Boxes with me as often as possible - and other discs that might be up for adoption for a course donation.

Based on Numbers we can formulate cards but figure on having that determined once we hit 10:30 with tee off shortly there after.

Use UDisc for Scoring and I'll upload data into DGS for Handicaps Etc. 12 Week Season 2 weeks to Establish Handicap .

With the conditions on the course being pretty much soggy waffles we have pushed the start back to April 13th - Hopefully by then it will have dried out a bit and things will be pretty much the normal conditions you will find and improving daily . Looking forward to getting this league up and running and having fun putting down some fun disc beats out on the course with you all .
