Ratings-based Divisions
Each player will compete in a division corresponding to their PDGA rating. Those who do not have a rating may compete in the Purple Division. Players DO NOT need to be a PDGA member to participate. Players may compete in a high rated division if they choose. The Women's division is protected. However, female players have to option to play in a rated division as well. Any pro classified players must register for the Gold Division.
Divisions:
Gold - PDGA rating over 970 (plus all pros)
Blue - < 970 rating
White - < 935 rating
Red - < 900 rating
Green - < 850 rating
Purple - < 800 rating or unrated player
Women - any rating. Pro women will compete in rated division
League Points: All players will compete for a points championship within their division. At the conclusion of the league, division champions will be determined by a league points system. The top SIX of EIGHT scoring weeks for each competitor will be used to determine the division standings and overall champion. Players earn ONE point for each player in their division they beat and/or tie plus THREE points for participation.
Flex-start and scoring: We will utilize the PDGA live scoring application. All players will be required to play in a group wherein at least one member has access to the scoring platform. Those choosing to play a flex-start round must (a) have registered for the league (b) paid their registration fee (c) play on the same Tuesday as the rest of the league that week and (d) play in a group of at least three and no more than five total players on the card.
