Yup. It's always up to the individual league how they do their points. Each Point Series can define how they calculate points and then the points are automatically calculated independent of the leagues so the leagues have more options; stay with legacy point systems or try new things. A2COPs is a local league PS and uses straight points - this is how the points have worked all season so if you have been watching the leader board there are no surprises here at the end.
I understand that with only two points separating first and second that this could be a factor but that is how it has been all season. Great achievements Andy S, Ben Ciccarrelli and Ben Calhoun on the first, second and third place finishes. Note less than 30 points separated the top 4 places - Note yet official as league have until tomorrow to post any outstanding rounds or updates but it looks like most of the A2 leagues are posted.
