Freestate Finale announcements and leaderboard updates!
This year's Freestate Doubles Finale will take place at Kinder Farm Park on Saturday November 5th! Please mark your calendars!
The top 12 finishers from each league will receive an invite to this year's Finale. That being said the likelyhood of all top 12 finishers being available for the Finale is pretty slim so keep stacking those points. We will request confirmation of attendance by mid-October so that we may extend the invite list accordingly within each league. If a league is unable to fill all 12 spots we will open them up to other leagues where there is interest. Also if there are any ladies interested in attending the Finale we have 2 spots from each league reserved for the top 2 finishing ladies. (You will be paired with the other lady from your league.)
Teams will be drawn that morning immediately after check-in. (Exact schedule for the day tbd.) Each player will be pooled together, in groups of 4, according to the place they finished in the league they are representing. We will randomly draw from each pool to determine teams. In other words, spots 1-4 will be drawn together, 5-8 will be drawn together, and 9-12 will be drawn together.
We will play one round of a mixed layout followed by a final 9. The top 3 teams including ties will participate in the final 9!
Awards:
-First place finishers from each league will receive a trophy engraved with their league name.
-First place finisher with the most points per event wins a custom trophy disc.
-Top 3 finishing teams will each receive a custom trophy disc.
-First place team will have their names engraved on a traveling trophy.
-Each TD will receive a custom mini with the 2022 Freestate Doubles logo.
