ᚱᚨᚷᚾᚨᚱ ᛟᚹᛖᚱᛒᛁ ᛚᛖᚨᚷᚢᛖ
Every Tuesday for the next six Tuesdays, we will have the first session of the Ragnar Overby League! This PDGA-sanctioned League is a form-your-own group flex league. Make your own group, pick your timeslot, report your results via the Digital Scorecard, and send payment to the club via PayPal.
DETAILS:
Again, this is a flex league. You need a group of 3 or more to play. Matt or I will post a thread for people to form groups each week.
Everyone is playing for a PDGA rating and points when they compete.
All PDGA rules apply.
Be honest when reporting your results, or we'll have to go back to set hours for session 2.
League is $2 to play per session. $1.50 goes to league overhead (park permits) and trophies; $0.50 goes to PDGA. Optional ace pot is $1 per session (see immediately prior bullet point). PayPal to [email redacted] before each round.
Everyone is reported to PDGA as either MPO or MA1.
League divisions for league awards - based on combined session 1 and 2 results - will be by rating as follows (pick ONE division and stick with it; if you're on the cusp and have been playing well, play up):
Mixed
GOLD - 935+
SILVER - 880-934
BRONZE - 825-879
STEEL - <825
Women-Only
EMERALD - 775+
AMETHYST - 725-774
GARNET - <725
Awards are based on a reverse-points system (#1 is 1pt, #2 is 2pts), with your best 7 results over the 12 weeks counting. Divisions where no one completes 7 weeks will not have a trophy awarded.
*The schedule is as follows:
4/12 - Burke Lake short tees to long baskets
4/19 - Bluemont mixed layout (mostly red to blue and white to silver)
4/26 - Pohick Bay short tees to long baskets (where available)
5/3 - Giles Run Meadow 2022 Howling Gale Saturday layout
5/10 - Forest Valley blue tees to short baskets
5/17 - Bull Run classic layout (blue to white on the front, white to blue on the back)
Remember: Rag was the biggest baby in Norwegian history, but you don't have to be a giant baby on the course. We're here to have fun! Skål!

There won't be another session of this league this year. I believe there may be a Jailbreak league at Giles this fall, however.
