About this league

This is a flex-start league that will run from 5-8 p.m. every Thursday. There will be A (experienced) and B (new/recreational) divisions so players can compete against others of their skill level. Anyone who wants to play up is welcome to do so.

It costs $10 to participate each week: $6 to night-of payout for your division, $1 to the overall hot round of the night, $1 to end-of-year points (I’ll use a similar method to Wednesday Night League), $1 to the Ice Bowl and $1 to the Syracuse Open.

Meier’s Creek is throwing in a crowler for each weekly division winner and a $50 gift card for the season-long champ.

Please bring five putters. There will be two identical setups in place, each one consisting of a standard basket and a marksman alongside one another. They function interchangeably. It does not matter which one you use.

Each player will go through three rounds of 40 total putts. Each round will start with five putts at 15 feet, 20 feet, 25 feet and 30 feet on a standard basket. Then it will continue with the same sets of putts on the marksman.

You can play in cards of 2-5. Set a group order and keep it through the round. Every player on the card must complete a station before the group can move on to the next one.

After you’ve completed your round, you can get back in line to play or take a break. Feel free to grab a drink or dinner. You just need to be done with three rounds by 8.

Scoring: Each make at 15 feet is worth one point. Each make at 20 feet is worth two points. Each make at 25 feet is worth three points. Each make at 30 feet is worth four points. Every perfect station gets you a three-point bonus.

Please be mindful to keep moving while you’re putting. There’ll be plenty of time and space to chat between rounds, but there’s a finite amount of both to actually putt in the facility.

Scorekeeping: Please mark the number of putts made (0-5) in each box. Circle any perfect stations. To anyone who’d like to write out their totals, feel free. They’ll be checked either way. Just make sure the makes and bonuses are marked clearly.
