Shoutout to Todd Campbell for working on the Rec Side tee pads with me today. It was rough out there and I'd still be working on it if you weren't there to help. Thanks buddy.

Anyway, after trudging through the snow, cleaning the pads, salting the pads, and really getting a good look at the state of the course, I'm just going to cancel tomorrow's round to play it safe. Things should be in pretty good shape for rounds tomorrow, but be safe in that snow. Tape ribbons to your discs or something if you're going out there, as the snow drifts get pretty deep in quite a few areas. The roads inside the park aren't awful, but it is risky just to be out there. Any vehicle with decent tread on the tires shouldn't have a problem navigating the snows out there. My little Trailblazer did just fine(shoutout to the snow-driving mode on the car).

We dusted roughly 65lbs of salt across the Rec Side tee pads, being very generous to make sure pads were playable for those braving the elements. But as far as league goes, I'm not going to make anyone come out. And I'm certainly not making myself go out and sit most of the day for it. Y'all crazy. We'll kick it off Next Week if things look good. Stay posted friends!

Okay, so I planned to cancel Week 3...
As far as things go, the main roads throughout Centralia are great. Interstates are fine, and really everything is shaping up pretty well. I'll be out in the park most of tomorrow, but I'm starting the day early by picking up some materials. The plan is to salt/clean the Rec Side tee pads so that League can fire off. I'll be leaving my house to get materials around 8:30am-9am, then I'm grabbing a local that offered to help, then we're getting to work. I'm assuming work on Rec Side will start approximately around 10:30am-11am, but there's no guarantees.

Feel free to join the effort, by no means are you required to if you're local. Just helps me out, as well as other golfers coming out to play.

Stay posted on your inbox for Sunday, because if things get cleaned up and all looks good, I'll fire it off. Since it is a flex, things should be just fine. I want to see the elusive -10 round still!
