Matthew Hull 55 - (SHORTS) New Layout 2013, 18 holes "My lifelong friend Jon P. and I headed out on the one nice day Easter weekend (the day we arrived in the area actually) and played at his favorite course in the Cuyahoga Falls area! It was quite windy for stretches but we had a fun time and I certainly had a few moments of greatness (with plenty of not-so-great moments too I might add). Some of the more technical holes got me at times as my overall accuracy was a bit shaky but I did manage to put together a couple of wonderful birdies! What I did on Hole #14 was incredible for me personally! My Star Beast hit a beautiful line on the 360 ft. hole and I somehow nailed a 50+ ft. Roach putt to snag a fantastic birdie! That was my moment for sure. I also birdied #7 (I did put in a 25-30 ft. putt in addition to that superb one on #14) and had some decent Star Beast and Champion Destroyer drives over the course of the round. Oddly enough, I broke out my Star Stingray a bit and I wish that I would have had my Star Roadrunner for a few of the holes. I was disappointed to bogey #18 (almost finished at even!) but I was quite proud of the round regardless. If the weather had been better Jon and I could have played more but alas...what can you do? ;)"Sunday, March 20, 2022
