Hey everybody. Keep an eye out for Mr. Polley's disc & let's get it back to him.

Curious about what's going on with all the flags, painted boxes, & such at the Fairmont Park Disc Golf Course?

The Disc Fanatics of Kansas & Discs Unlimited will be co-hosting a Millennium Discs “3 Disc Challenge” Tournament on Saturday May 4th, 2013. This is a fundraiser event for our Fairmont Park disc golf course expansion & remodel project. It is also a marketing event promoting Millennium Golf Discs.

Yep! Though I'm sure I'm not the only one. My disc rolled around that clump of trees to the left and I couldn't see where it went.

Brian, were you the guy who threw it into the trees on #4?

LOST: I forgot a UV Innova Mini (turns purple in the sun, white in the shade) at Warner Park today. If you find it, could you please return it to me.

Thanks!

Oh Warner Park! It became obvious to me today that you need the Warner Wednesday league as much as we need you (b/c we keep you clean). I went up there expecting to pick up trash, but I didn't expect to pretty much only pick up trash...

Glad I ran into Adam. Otherwise I wouldn't have got in any practice.

Happy Birthday to the Warner Park Disc Golf Course.!

The first permanent basket (the current practice basket) was installed on this day, April 30th, 2010.

Appropriately, it was installed as a test (practice) install in advance of the work day that took place one week later when we installed baskets #1 through #9.

It seems like yesterday... kinda.

Trick or Treat Warner Park!

Today is Halloween and the last day of the month, so don't get tricked into throwing to the wrong pin placement tomorrow.

BTW, did you know this weekend is essentially the "1st birthday" of the concrete tee pads at Warner? Yep, it's already been a year! We poured three tee pads per weekend starting on the first weekend in October, 2010.

Do you know/remember what 3 pads were poured on the first weekend?

Tomorrow is the first of the month, so you know what that means... Pin placements changes have been made at the Warner Park Disc Golf Course! (4pm today)

ALL pins have been moved since yesterday, which means the following:
#2 LONG
#4 RIGHT (everyones favorite)
#5 LONG
#6 LEFT
#7 RIGHT

Enjoy.

YESTERDAY, the City of Manhattan Parks & Rec. department mowed a large part of the Warner Park disc golf course. No, not all the tall grass has been cut. However, a substantial volume of it is gone. Mark and I were involved in getting this done so we're sure you'll like the improvements.
