I am looking for "Matt" who plays at Riverside; about 22 or 23 and expects to graduate from Aquinas this month. Throws a mile, shimmies trees like a squirrel, and played Yankee Springs last weekend. Would like to shoot a round again. Marc, PDGA 2743

Just in case y'all was wondering, Hole #1 basket has water getting closer to surrounding it. Hole #2 teepad is underwater. Hole #15 & #16 baskets are completely surrounded by water (OB, right?). Other than those few soggy obstacles, mud & the multitude of downed limbs & branches all over the place, the course is playable.

Are there any hardcore golfers who can play here in the afternoon? I want to play with some locals, here for a week for army training. Bring a shovel and we can fear the pads... My number is on my profile.

I haven't been out this year, is the course flooded at all?

Just making you guys aware that hole 8 is without a basket. Someone decided to take it. Cement, pole, basket...it's all gone. Not sure who needs to know about it to fix it. Just putting it out there.

Wondering if anyone out there would like to start a weekly 6 am game. Yes, I said 6 am. Any day of the week is fine for me, but I am leaning towards Mondays or Wednesdays. I am an early bird and am inviting any other early birds out there to join me at least once a week at riverside to enjoy the summer mornings. Thanks!

Under Course Layout there is an option for "River Monster". Anyone know what this means? Details?

West Michigan games are happening this weekend (6/22&23) at Earl Brewer. I'm good for it. Post on the tournament page to build interest in the next few days.

Current course information (as of 4/21/13!) - Holes 1 through 5, and 17 through 18 still open-ish. Hole one tee pad is dry-ish, basket is fully submerged (use a putter that sinks for any chance of par). Hole 2 basket in 2 feet of water, tee pad covered with 3 to 4 feet of water. Hole 3 basket in 1 foot of water, tee pad in 2 feet of water. Hole 4 basket on dry-ish ground, tee pad in 2 feet of water. Hole 5 basket is submerged to the bottom of top basket ring (use a sinkable putter on this one!), ... more

If you attempt 1-6 and/or 17-18 - pray to God first.

If you are a local amateur player and would like an invite to a cash tournament that myself and Connor Gortsema are putting together, drop me a PM and let me know so we can really get this ball moving. Only 2 divisions: Open and Amateur. Gonna be the start of a cash tour here in the local area and trust me you don't wanna miss out! Limited to 20 entrants per division as to keep it someone exclusive and private!!
