Matthew Hull 53 - Regular tees to Long pins, 18 holes "I had another supremely fun outing at Riverpark this morning! Despite finishing just one stroke better than my round here a few days ago, I feel like I played better for sure. My Champion Destroyer hit some really sweet lines on the shorter holes (220-250 ft.) as I can really count on that disc to hit a smooth hyzer when I need it. It was superb on #3 and came through for me again on the tricky #12 (a tough hole to park on and I've done it back-to-back rounds)! My Sword was awesome on #6 while my yellow Buzzz hit a good enough line on #7. My putting was all over the place but overall, it was quite good. I did miss some bunnies on #5 and #14 (three putted #14 which was particularly painful) but I made a really nice birdie putt on #7, a smooth putt right under some tree branches on #8 (this one is REALLY hard to get par on as its in the super long location presently), and another solid 20-25 ft. putt on #13. I don't know if this will be my final round ever at Riverpark (once again the big bad evil people are going to destroy the park and put up apartments there...wish I knew how to fight this 80's style! Lol.) but if so, I'm going out on a positive note. I will try to play here again but we'll see..."Tuesday, June 7, 2022

Matthew Hull 54 - Regular tees to Long pins, 18 holes "It's been a long, long time but I finally made it back to Riverpark (when it wasn't in the dead of winter!) and it was truly a joy to play this course once more. Especially since I learned from Shaun (a super nice gentleman who I helped find his lost disc on Hole #5 and we played the remainder of the round together) that they are literally putting apartments/hotels in where Riverpark is and essentially eliminating the course for good! It's sad, sad news but at the very least, I have loved playing here again. Holes #1 and 18 are literally a thing of the past (excavators and bulldozers have destroyed that portion of the course already) so I gave myself pars (3's) on those holes. In any case, I played a pretty solid round overall! I came close to snagging myself a skip ace on Hole #3 (where my ace streak began!) and I threw a steady diet of Champion Destroyer drives today with my Star Beast and Star Roadrunner chipping in from time to time. My drives on Holes #12 (parked my C. Destroyer!) and 13 (Roadrunner hit a sweet line) were particularly good. It was a fun round and I'll certainly miss Riverpark. Lots of great memories there for sure (played my second ever tournament there in the 2012 Ice Bowl also!) It's a truly wonderful course!"Sunday, April 11, 2021

Matthew Hull 57 - Regular tees to Long pins, 18 holes "Despite being both physically and mentally exhausted (my wife and I are moving in a couple of days...so tired of packing boxes!), I enjoyed my final round of disc golf at Riverpark as a Utah resident. :) Had some nice drives and finished the round just in time as it was getting quite dark by #17 and 18. Matthew Hull 56 - Regular tees to Long pins, 18 holes "I enjoyed a special round with my dad today! It was quite the erratic round (missed on some approach shots/putts) but I had my moments as well. Had one of the best drives on #15 EVER (threw my Destroyer and just got the perfect S-Curve) along with a miraculous 25 foot putt on #18. Fun times! :)"Thursday, June 15, 2017

While I had three birdies (above my average), I also had a couple of dreaded double bogeys due to missing TWO 10-15 ft. putts in a row (#4) or getting swallowed up by a fallen tree (#9). Matthew Hull 55 - Regular tees to Long pins, 18 holes "What an interesting round! I literally had some of my worst drives/lies early on and yet I managed to put together some great approach shots!
