Great course. Fun mix of long, short, open and tree'd holes. I'm new to DG and this is my favorite course. I have played it 2-4 times per week since August and I'm addicted. Real interesting lately playing with 18 inches of snow.. you will lose discs if you don't have them ribboned.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v

Good difficulty, but it needs mapping of where tees and pins are for first time players at the course. Tees are at least rubber now, but concrete would help a lot since there are seams you have to st ... show more ›

Good difficulty, but it needs mapping of where tees and pins are for first time players at the course. Tees are at least rubber now, but concrete would help a lot since there are seams you have to step over to throw (tripping hazard). The technical course layout is good with the trees and bushes. Fall time was much easier playing than summer with the growth of grass and weeds making it difficult to find discs after a wet spring.

Great course with some fun holes. Go with someone that knows it well if you want to play the extra 9 holes, as they are pretty tough to navigate. Weeds can be pretty long, so if you're shots aren't super accurate, you'll want to have someone be a spotter on some of the holes, especially in the extra 9.

Riverpark is an awesome course. Played it probably over 100 times now but just joined the Scene. The course can be a bit confusing on how to get to the next hole, but you can always ask anyone because people are nice. #8 is across the paved walking/biking trail down by the river shooting south along the river. Potential to lose a few discs with several water hazards; swamp about 35 ft behind the basket on #2 long, River about 40 ft behind basket on #6, river along right side of #8 protect by some decent tree cover but can still get through if you shank hard right, #9 and #10 also run south along the river but #10 the river has little to no protection and the current is usually pretty fast there. Lost a few discs off that hole now, but it is a fun hole. #13 has a swamp on the right side of the hole starting about half way to the hole. #15 has a swamp right of the hole about 25 ft and tough to see anything in. Slight swamp potential on 16 on the right, and swamp along the entire right side of the fairway of #18, and about 20 ft behind the basket in long. Way fun course!

This is certainly one of the finest, more diverse disc golf courses I have ever played! :) There are wide-open holes but also more tight, tactical holes as well. I like how the course swings by the river too. You need to be very good at leaning/getting throws to curve right on several holes here. Just watch out because you can easily lose discs on a few of the holes (e.g. #18 if you throw right...at all)

This course is awesome. 27 holes, multiple tee(short,medium,long) and pin positions(long,short,mixed), decent signs, plenty of trashcans and benches, clean bathrooms, good blend of hole lengths and shapes. A sign at the first tee displays what position the baskets are in, this is a great idea and should be done at more courses. Hole 11 has an extra long position that is a great challenge. Well developed and maintained. One of the coolest practice areas ever. There is only small elevation change, plays mostly flat. Northern Utah's premier course and a definite must play if your in the area or just want a change from the SLC scene.

Plus a new 9 holes in back! Now play 27 hole rounds!!! Great jod NUDGA!!!

I love Riverpark. This course is maintained by NUDGA and is on a fast pace to becoming Utahs A++ course. The main 18 holes have almost all been replace with Mach 5s and alternate pin settings w/ three tee pad options. Every hole stands seperate from the next. I throw all types of shots and am givin the option to take alternate flight paths. I think with time the added back nine holes can be just as epic with the land available...as of right now they have yet to evolve much, just being added this year. This is the only course close to the area so speed of play is slow on the weekends. NUDGA is the biggest most happenin club around with all kinds of character so I would suggest you check Riverpark out.
