Lake comes into play on several holes making for challenging up shots
Cons:
Confusing layout - first-timers bring a guide
Not located in the greatest of neighborhoods
Sidewalks, roads, picnic areas all dangerously close. Be careful not to hit someone!

Simple layout considering other courses I've played. Difficult to find tee boxes without a map if you're new. Course runs along the water and makes it difficult to keep all of the discs you came with. I put three in the water and only retrieved one which I had to wade in for. Overall, a very enjoyable course though, fairly open with a smattering of trees throughout.

This is a good course. There isn't much room in this park for a disc golf course but they did a good job. The drawbacks are that it is very hard to find you way to the next tees on a few holes if you haven't played there before. The holes are very close together and there are many other things going on around and sometimes through the middle of the holes. Hole 2 crosses a road in the park, and many come very close to a walking path. Other than that, there are many reasons to like this course. The holes have lots of variety and are fun and challenging. Finding discs is not a problem here with very little outside the tallest of trees with no undergrowth.

Olmstead can be brutal and your shots have to be dead on. Course plays short and tight. There are a good variety of short and long holes. The course plays between a road and a lake and the width between both at some points are as narrow as 50 yards. 3 holes play tight on water and you def dont want to go for the basket on these bc if you go in the water, you arent retrieving them. The water is over populated with alligator gar. The more i play this course the more i love it. im starting to consider this a home course for me

Very long links style course requiring MANY 300+ shots to score. Fairly open, manicured park but plays very tight with OB (road) and river in play on at least half the holes. Even the experienced won't play for fear of losing discs in river. I lost 3 my last round there. 1 hole requires 200 ft shot over river. Site of 2006 PDGA World Championship. B only because it is too long for me.
