Should have gotten to this sooner. My favorite Georgia course by far. The tall Georgia pines that the course traverses mixed with some red dirt, honey suckle and rock formations, reminds me just how much I miss living here. Although the heat ensures I never will again, like the snow too much. Every time I visit I do plan on playing rounds here. Left and right dog legs, short and long holes, up hill, down hill. Designated area of the park just for disk golf, sans a few bikers and walkers. Flows v ...

Really enjoyed this course. It was pretty busy, but not too crowded for a weekend. We let a few groups play through. Very friendly crowd. Course was laid out well utilizing all the natural forested areas as well as some good elevation changes. Baskets were good quality and well-placed. Everything available from precision shot par 3s to an 870 foot bomb par 5 on 18. Course was well maintained allowing for some decent skips. Watch anything hooking right on 11, though. I had to say farewel ...

Most of the reviews are spot on. The course itself is a gem...you will need to have a lot of shots in your arsenal to score well. it's also a great mixture of wooded holes and open ones. Some elevation change, but it's definitely not all up and down. The negative aspects of the course are with the signage. It's definitely not the easiest course to navigate for first timers. There are no next hole signs and you are required to cross a road twice to finish the back nine. However most of the locals are friendly and willing to help navigate.

Nice course. Great mixture of holes. Wish there were blue pro tee pads all the time rather than just "big tourneys", which is almost never. I absolutely love the park the course is in, however I feel the course fell short of potential compared to the giant park.
Signage for each hole is terrible, which means hard to navigate first few times playing. Great tee pads. Baskets are horrible, some no-name brand.
If you live in the south, you have to make a trip to play this course. It ...

I thought this course pretty much had it all...left, right, long, short...you name it. The park is awesome and I really enjoyed it. It's a tough course but to me it hits that sweet spot between too hard and too easy. The signs could stand to be updated a few spots where I'm told by locals that the distances aren't right, and I always like to see a diagram of the hole on the sign. They've got short tees and some longer tees marked with stakes, but putting in tee pads for those would be one of ...

Excellent course! Took the family there and had no real problems with the course. It is well marked and has a challenging layout. The only reason it's not an "A+" in my rating is because it doesn't have diagrams.

Challenging w/o being frustrating. I love that this course is in my hometown. All the regulars are very friendly and helpful. The only reason this course doesn't earn an A+ is due to the hole signs not having layout diagrams for first-time players to know where the basket is. Bright yellow baskets are definitely easy to spot, however. Come play in c-town!

Great natural course. Full grown trees and some up and downs. I would not say most of the wooded holes were tight because most have a few lines but there are a lot of tree hazards.
Since my original review the signage has been updated on all holes and 2 new pin placements per hole have been added.

Course has great scenery and is overall well layed out. Has some very short holes and a few very long ones, including an 870 feet par 5. Would have like to seen more than one set of tee boxes but overall very satisfied. Had a great day with friends.

First, let me say that I'm new to disc golf, and second, I have a really nice home course at the Kiwanis Morristown, TN course. Flat Rock is a beautiful park, but for us, the DC was a tad disappointing. First, if I hadn't found a course map online, we'd have been totally lost. Part of the holes aren't numbered, there aren't diagrams of the greenways, and we had a hard time finding some of the baskets. Overall, it was a nice course to play, as long as you can find where you are supposed to b ...

Great course.Ive been enjoying this course for the last few years. Love the layout. Only complaint is that they have never changed the basket placement. i think an additional basket placement would be awesome

Fun course, hard course for new players but, a good place to learn with a nice local club with many members there on weekends willing to help.

Beautiful course. Very nicely laid out. I need to play again the next time I visit my mother-in-law and I'll elaborate on the course more.

The course itself is EXCELLENT and very enjoyable to play. I highly recommend it if you are visiting or live in Columbus, GA. That said, signage is horrible. We got lost about a half-a-dozen times our first trip through. Signs are sporadic, if they exist. Often we simply had to walk around randomly to find the next hole. Also, the pins are very hard to see in some cases. They do not have anything bright that stands out and are sometimes quite well hidden. Once found though, they make for a ...

great course with multiple pin locations. great red prodigy baskets, easy to see from the Tee's. Signs make it easy to navigate to pin locations. Hole #2 has the current course layout marked with a padlock under the tee sign to let you know where the pins will be. some of the next tee signs are harder to see but they are marked in the trees with 3x5ish wood signs.Going from hole #10 to hole #11 and then from #15 to #16 you cross over the road. Great use of the terrain.
