It's a decent course in a nice enough park. You shouldn't ever have to throw across a sidewalk unless you've made an errant throw. If a disc goes more than a few feet into the water, it's basically lost so the course can be a bit of a disc eater if you're newer. It's usually not too busy unless there's a club or event on the course.

Short course, there MIGHT be one or two baskets you won't be able to reach on your drive but Expo is for the birds...birds birds birds.

Pros: Water adds a 'mental' element to those who aren't used to it, and this course is usually not very busy unless there's tags going on, so it's a quick round. Its a park so you don't lose your disc in tall grass of any of that horsecrap (though there may be dog crap).

Cons: If you DO go in the water, I'd advise you to just let it go, that stuff is gnarly. Place can be pretty stinky and after a good storm, all the trash get's washed up onto the lake banks, which isn't the most pleasant of things to walk around in. Hole variety isn't great, you CAN hyzer all day, maybe you should try working on something else, mix it up son

When I lived in Aurora, this was the closest course, and also the very first course where I started and learned the sport. Losing 4 discs I bought in 2 weeks of playing, this course devours discs of novice through intermediate players alike. If anything, playing this course I think will make you better in terms of shot selection and teach you about how disc characteristics affect the overall throw and fade. Worthwhile place to play, especially if you like chucking over the water for some long range thrills. Sadly I didn't have enough money to afford new discs, so I was one of "those people" who went wading into the water to attempt to retrieve my discs. After week 2, I lost 4 discs, but retrieved 31 discs (I kid you not) after 3 water wades, an average of 10 discs per wade. Returning discs, a few to even professional players, I got to know more about the sport and get to know more about the people that play. I'll never forget this place as my first course.

This course is built around a public park that's kept in pretty nice condition, and the entire course plays around a pond that comes into play on a number of holes. Moderate in length. Well marked, and concrete tee pads on every hole. You'll end up throwing a lot of the same shots, since most of the holes are pretty open, but you definitely have to watch out for that pond.
