This course is absolutely beautiful! Played yesterday for the first time, and plan to make it my home course. This is easily one of the best courses I have ever played for the following reasons; 1) The course layout was very well thought out 2) There is a post with a sign on it for almost every hole (2 or 3 of them have fallen off) 3) They have every kind of shot one could ask for 4) Plenty of elevation changes 5) The locals are very helpful and finally 6) This community takes real good care of the course and keeps it very, very clean. With that out of they way, if it is your first time there you need to look for the local pool and park in that parking lot if you can as hole one starts there. Upon arriving to hole one you will see an awesome over all course layout, and pamphlets that have the course layout as well as a score card. When this course what built the community did almost everything right.

The few things they did wrong are simply minor things. To start with there is only one garbage can on the entire course, and that is only at the first hole. This is only a minor issue, because as mentioned earlier the locals keep this place super clean. The next minor issue is the pamphlet you are givin at the start of the course shows 2 tee pads, and 2 baskets for some of the holes. This is NOT the case. This issue is solved simply by knowing they are not there. The pamphlet is still very, very helpful for new discers on the course because they show where every hole is, and have land marks on the map as well making it even easier to find the holes.

The city of McCook deserves a nice pat on the back for this place. If it was not the cities doing, but actually some local disc golfers, please get back to me for your proper and way over do congratulations and to schedual a round together. And as always GROW THE SPORT

I love this course, not only is it my home course, I have played several courses in the past couple of years and I must say it is one of the best in the state. Kelly Park has a great layout with 30 to 40' elevation changes, long bomber holes and short technical with some of the best t-pads i've seen and depending on how much rain we get, there can be some nasty water hazards. It is an overall great course with a lot to offer. If your anywhere in the area it is a must.
