This course is the real deal. Open shots, wooded shots, fair ob, fair pars. Darrell has set this course up for everyone, from beginner to advanced. At the same time, he did not just put in the tee pads and baskets and walk away. Haute Goat, like the farm it is on, is a living ecosystem. If Darrell feels like a tee pad isn’t working for players, he will adjust it. When it gets a hanging basket, I will give it an A+.

Darrell has created a gem here at Haute Goat. Beautiful rolling terrain with scenic views. It starts with a spectacular downhill par 4 with the basket tucked in the woods. The design was really well thought out forcing you to shot shape the disc to get it close for birdie. Also, love the fact you can rip some drives like hole 10, another downhill par 4. Great astroturf tee pads with nice tee signs and next hole directional signs hanging from each basket. I like how he combined the two layouts. Some holes with their own tee pads and a shared basket, and others with shared tee pads with two baskets. Overall, a fun and challenging course that does reward good play but will punish poor shots.
