Awesome tee pads. Only negative is the parking and the randoms walking through fairways but other than that I love it for a local 9 hole course! FYI I just started a weekly league here! Every Wednesday at 6pm!! Just moved to the area, let’s get some Taylor locals together and start something fun after work without having to drive 25 mins away!

The thing is... It's a 9 in a park. So if that's not you then go to Willow or Cass
Etc. Plays tight to many other areas that people do things, such as walk, bike, or being at the soccer field, playground, or pavilion. It is good to play during off peak park times, but patience is key as there's often families and kids present.

Outside of those things... there are a bunch of fun features here and overall its well done. Great tee pads on all 9, and the long position is a fairly different look than the short tees on most of the holes. Nice baskets! Good use of land with some fun elevated shots, and a bunch of greens on slopes, forcing you to pay attention on your upshot. A few big 400+ ft shots, some mangos to hit, and a gap shot on 5 that is so deliciously challenging keep this place interesting!
There is a porta-potty, and down off of Telegraph are a bunch of places to go, get drinks and so on, or eat. Parking isn't an issue in my experience, and if you park just past the practice basket you're in a spot to warm up, start, and finish, all within 50 feet of your car.

Feels like the course was put in, just for the sake of putting one in. The teepads are super nice, and a great size unlike a lot of other Park Courses. Baskets are great, Innova Discatchers that look very new. The first 3 holes are super tight fairways that novice players will find tricky, and if you miss your line even a little, you're hitting tree's. You're playing around 2 marshes and walking paths throughout which makes for a challenge. Hole 4 I believe, plays right next to the road, and for RHBH players, requires care not to go into the street.

Overall flow isn't too too bad, but many of the 9 holes seem to be gimmicky. I will say the grass was mowed as well as could be expected given the conditions. Also had to deal with people flying Kites and walking through the middle of fairways. Not uncommon with park golf, but worth noting.

One huge mark against this course is the lack of any sort of parking. We had to park down the street and walk over, as the only lot in the area was posted as Private Property for the apartments right next to the course.

The Hill is a relatively new 9 hole course in a multi use neighborhood park. The open to lightly wooded course plays from shorts and longs around the park perimeter. Lots of space, hills and seasonal water that creates an interesting challenge, especially from longs (hole 9 is a 645 foot downhill shot over water). Hole 5 is a tough left to right hole with a tight pathway to the basket and seasonal water along the left side. Hole 6 has cool elevation changes and hole 7 is a downhill shot with water on the left and a walking path hazard on the right of the basket. ***However, it appears many of the water hazards are due to winter thaw and flooding. That’s okay…more of a challenge! Maybe it’s much drier in the summer and fall. Overall, the layout is well designed, has 2 sets of long concrete pads for each hole and DISCatcher Pro baskets. A couple of holes/baskets are placed by a road and a walking path. The drainage issues occur during the winter and spring, the course holds lots of water. Mandos on 2 holes, informative tee signs with maps, however a few are placed in the opposite direction. UDisc aids navigation, no next tee signage yet. The park but not the course has trash cans. The park is clean and maintained. No parking lot available but park on the sidestreet next to hole 1. Overall, a fun, quality 9 hole course. Reviews for this course can understandably range from a C to an A depending on personal likes and dislikes.
