Fun little course I stopped by after having to travel that way for work. Some of the navigation was almost impossible without udisc, but once I got that figured out, it was fun. Easy front 9 for the most part, but some of the back 9, or 15 if you play the extra tees, or quite tricky. There is room for some cool shots, but also some thick foliage here and there in a couple spots that are hard to find discs in. I recommend playing with somebody who has played it before. Also, sounds like mowing isn't always up to par, but I guess I drove in at a good time. Overall better than I expected.

This is my home course and the only reason I give it a B+ and not higher is because it is a pretty simple course. It is very well maintained minus not being mowed often enough. Pretty good variety, the front nine is short and simple and the back 9 is longer and less forgiving. Overall very fun and ego boosting course that I love to play and I play it very frequently! Come check it out.

after the front 9 it becomes a little harder to navigate. I ended up throwing to the wrong basket, once i got up there I noticed it was the wrong number. they have also added holes here and there and those are hard to know where they fall in.

In the end I found 2 locals playing and i tagged along with them and then I understood the layout once I went through it once. The guys were super friendly and we ended up playing 2 or 3 quick rounds.

The course has everything necessary for a fun round, if navigation would become easier then it would be the best it could be. It has the variety needed for a fun course.

Navigation doesn't exist after hole nine, so let the force be with you. Nice that the course is free to play, it would be better if parks department cared more about maintaining the park and course. If in the area there are better options, or play the first nine for an ace walk off.

The 250' + holes make good use of the terrain and trees with several blind shots. There are even a few 300+ holes where you can air it out. Would like to play this course again if I am in the area.

Fun course, In the front, you are in deuce or die territory, you want to be gobbling those up as much as you can. It has some longer holes that come later in the round, that are open and can air some drives out after being putter and midrange happy in the beginning. Doesn't favor one type of throw and can put a hurt on you if you aren't making your lines. And hope you like Train Whistles! ;)

The course offers a lot of variety. The front nine is a deuce or die set up, so get the birdies here. Distance control is a must for the front as alot of the holes are off distances requiring the player to 'power down' on their drives. Hyzer and anhyzers are split equally. The back is a little more stretched out and the pins a little trickier to get to. All in all a fun course to play.

Fun course! First 9 are much quicker than the last 9 & the additional holes in between are fun for a longer game. Some difficulty seeing where the next tee pad is in a few spots of the last 9 if you haven't played it much. Great for a quick round of 9 if you don't have much time or play the entire course for a decent cardio workout (ha, ha).

I grew up half a block away, and have seen the park grow from a fenced in (possibly contaminated) area to the skate park and the addition of disc golf course (also now bathroom facilities are almost to completion!! Thanks Charlotte rotary club!!)
For years I've played casually, this year I really took a shine to the sport and now try to play daily - the front 9 is not intimidating for beginners or people who casually play (only place to lose discs is in trees), the back is more challenging but still accessible for any skill level.
Lower traffic course; I suppose there are peak times but 80% of the time I play there are very few people playing and rarely a wait. The layout is good considering the space. Not as time consuming as some of the courses in the area which is nice for multiple rounds. All in all, it's fun! and that's the most important part.

The front 9 holes offer a variety of powered down shots, that are great for all skill levels and is quick to play through on a time constraint. The back holes offer more distance as well as some finesse. At hole 1 there are scorecards available with maps on the back of them. Signage and cement tees make for a fun and easy round to navigate this course. Friends and families alike seem to all enjoy this course. There is a little fun for every skill level to be had here.

Given the space they had to utilize, Charlotte has built a fantastic coarse. 24 holes for a town the size of Charlotte is a signifcant accomplishment for their club.

No great scenic signature holes but a good number of heiser, anheiser and straight on holes. Front nine is short and easy but requires technical shots. 4-7 holes should probably be par 2s. The back 15 is the longer section. Not many places to lose a disc. Holes and tees are well marked.

Stop by when you're in the neighborhood and add this coarse to your played list!

I recently played at Lincoln Park's Lincoln Logs tourney and found the course to be in excellent shape and with mowed fairways. The DGC has come a long way since a couple of years ago, with 21 present holes (with three more to go to make 24). I feel Lincoln Park DGC is a diamond in the rough. I gave it a B+ rating due to the fact that the total design is not yet finished. But with outstanding help from the city, volunteers, and the disc golf community the "finished product" should be A game material.

Pros:
-The whole course is easy to navigate and pretty well laid out.
-There are score cards and a map near the first tee which is always a plus!
-Cement tee pads are good size and big enough to take three steps on.
-New pin placements on 10,12 and 15 make the course a bit more technical.
-New holes A, B and C also add a little technicality and some hole variation!
-Baskets really snag discs. Two layers of chains.

The Front 9:
Fairly short but it is great for beginners. Winds around a skate park that can be pretty busy. Basket placement tends to favor lefties and righties equally.

The Back 9:
Much longer and slightly more wide open than the front. Good for practicing your fairway driving without a lot of trees. The back isn't real long (with the longest at 380'ish) but is still longer then the front 9.

Cons:
-The back 9 can be especially muddy.
-Some baskets are hard to see and find from tee. A spotter is needed on just a couple.

Other Thoughts:
This course is close to where I live so I am partial to it. Nice baskets and tee boxes! Well maintained!

The front 9 is a nice short course which wraps around a skate park. I really like taking my family here to play the first nine because it is impossible to lose a disc. The newly added benches are a great addition.

I haven't been playing long but I really enjoy the back 12. It lets you work on your distance and your finesse shots. I would recommend either playing with someone that has played before or walking to actually see each basket on the back 12 before throwing your drive. Especially 12, 15, & A.

Holes 17 and 18 are unplayable after wet weather. Bathroom facilities would be a major plus for this course.
