I would give this course a B for fun and design, but a D for signage, so I settled on D. As a non-local, I would not have been able to find many of the holes at all, let alone in order, if it had not been for the udisc app having a map. There is one course map on the park board, and there was one "next tee" sign, I believe after hole 3 or 4. Otherwise, good luck! Multiple tee signs were labeled wrong. There were two holes marked 6, two holes marked 21, no hole marked 22, hole 9 was marked 8a or 8b, don't remember, I didn't find hole 8 until after my round, and I never found a tee marked hole 9. I was only able to find my way around by using the udisc app layout. The back part of the course was a little easier to navigate, but the signage was still pretty bad. Sharpie crossed out numbers and wrote the apparent new layout numbers.
Paths were pretty well cut for the most part, but I still think there needs to be some "next tee" signs to help out, as some holes were kind of down these small side paths, like 20 and 21. The main path lead from 19 to 22 (which was marked 21 over top of the old "18") but 20 was down a side path, 21 was off of a path from that basket, then a path lead from there through a winding path back to 22, which (like I said) was also marked 21.
The actual hole design was actually really fun. Some wide open, some really tight, short ones, some well defined fairways with a lot of trees on the sides that make you pay if you get off course. I think 3 holes played water, though only really one was a threat (unless you get a bad kick off a tree.) There were quite a few baskets with guardian trees that gave you a challenge to get close.
No super long distance holes, but some that will let you stretch your arm out.
There were benches at quite a few holes. I don't remember seeing any trash cans, but I didn't have trash so I wasn't really looking.
There was a huge variety of baskets. Some old Mach 1s maybe? Rust on many, and some chains not connected at the bottom on some. But some baskets were brand new and much better, so I'm assuming they're on the up-swing with baskets.
Overall, I enjoyed myself. I wouldn't call it a destination course, but if you're around, it's worth dropping by. Just, for goodness sake, get some scorecards printed with maps or something, put up correct tee signs, and put up some "next tee" arrows!
