A relatively short, somewhat spastic layout that actually provides some solid fun for the length of the holes. Admittedly the layout is somewhat "dangerous" as it criss crosses and plays close to other park amenities but if you are smart and courteous there should be little to no issue. If you play the walking path as OB it gives the layout some more teeth.

Happily played the 9 a few times around, course layout is a bit odd with crossing fairways on the first 2 holes. Baskets are close to the tee pads on numerous holes. Course is well spread out around the park. For what the space is, it is a solid place to put in some practice. Definitely can't play parts of the course if kids are playing.

I played on a Sunday around 11AM, not busy at all pavilions were packed with parties and not an issue. Really love the new baskets and the concrete pads! Congrats on getting another course in Metro Detroit.

Green Acres is a short 9 hole open and lightly wooded course at a mixed use public park. The course map is posted. Plenty of parking. Easy navigation, cement pads and tee signs. Clean and well maintained. Public restroom… but was locked. Hole 1 and hole 2 crisscross so beware. Hole 2 is a nice downhill sled hill 300+ foot shot. Several baskets are near the walking path (plenty of walkers). Next tee pads are too close to baskets. The playground is near hole 6 and the swingset is in the fairway. Good variety of shots to test your short game. Excellent course for beginners, they’ll love the fun hill shot.
