The course is really fun and a challenge!
It’s mostly wooded with a few more open holes. It has really nice Innova Discatcher baskets, good signage and nice large cement tee pads! There are short tee pads on holes 1, 5, 14,15 & 16. There is a giant bridge that links the south and north side of the course taking you from hole 3 to hole 4 and hole 9 back to the south side to hole 10.
The course is being maintained and mowed.
There is a nice mix of short, medium and long holes. And there are straight, left to right and right to left shaped fairways, You need to be able to shape shots and control you throws to score well.
There are a few holes where the river on the left side of the fairways can come into play. It’s a challenging course with 4 par 4 holes making par of 58 for the main 18. There are 3 alternate holes to make it 21. 9 holes (holes 4-9,Alt holes A, B & C) are on the north side of the Grand River and 12 holes (1-3,10-18) on the south side of the river. You can park on the north side of the park and play a nine hole loop or park on the south side of the park and play the 12 holes there or start at hole 1 and play the main 18 or the full 21 holes.
It’s a fun course that plays new and needs to be “played in” to break it in.
