One of the top courses in Minnesota with several memorable holes. Several water carries as well. The park has bathrooms for the majority of the DG season with picnic tables and fire pits throughout. One minor drawback to this course is that it temporarily closes for The Big Island Rendezvous, and the parking lot is generally closed from winter until early spring. Minus the Rendezvous, the baskets are left in year-round.

This course is suited for all skill levels, but will favor more experienced player and bigger arms. Only one set of cement tee pads for each hole, however, there are short tee pads available through Udisc, from previous tournaments.

This course also called upper (to Bancroft Bay/Tall Grass). Copying my review from there: Solid course with tons of wood and gap shots. All tees are padded. Quite a few shots with water in play, only 3 where going over water would be the main play/best scoring chance. As of now, (4/2021) fairly well kept although no bathroom access yet. Great variety of hole lengths and backhand/forehand holes. Highly recommend it.
